Being from the islands i'll give you bam but sister nancy has been sampled to pluto and back. Track is catchy. The verses are modern and delivery is on point. but like I said it's not earth shattering and I'm a Jay fan.

He talks some shit on Moonlight.

It's not a bad album just not his best.

Also, when Views has Child's Play on it, you cannot say it was an attempt to be more "mature." If anything, More Life had way more tracks that felt that way to me.

Yeah. Even all the reviews of that album said that. He was way more "young and ignorant" with his previous work. Even the promo for Views seemed more mature for Drake.

Where did I say Kendrick wasn't mature? You're misunderstanding what I'm saying lmao.

And yeah, Drake was more mature in Views from everything surrounding that album, even the promo for that album was mature for him. As for More Life, which came out after Views, makes more sense that that album would be more mature as well. He's getting older, his style's transitioning.
 
MCHG was Hov having a mid-life crisis trying to keep up with the new school, this is him coming to terms with being a grown ass man.

maybe people went into this hoping for some Public announcement shit...but Jay Z dropped a more "Chill" album. this shit is chill as fuck. This is like Grown man hiphop.

Jay will not make a good album at his age until he comes to terms with the fact that he doesn't need to make whatever a "grown man" album is, and instead just makes a good album.

Bam's pretty damn good too. Only weak tracks (so far) are Smile and OJ.

This is definitely better than BP3 and MCHG and I'm not even done.

Marcy Me, that is the Hov flow I love.
 
I'm kinda surprised at how many aren't feeling this, I feel like this could've been released right alongside his classic stuff. Smile, Bam, Family Feud, Story of OJ, Moonlight all are great.

Yeah, I hope so too. Glad I know someone who has Tidal because it's not even worth the free trial.

Some tracks are okay at best, and y'all chewing up it because okay is great in Jay Z's books. The rest is just 3 second beats looped to death with no thought process. Jay Z needs a good producer, he ain't Dre and he always tries to be. His rhymes are as smart as a six year old who just realized that certain words sound the same.

I guess the message is there, and he's being relevant to himself with whatever ever happened in last quarter in his life? Oh well.
