Jay Z's "4:44" is out now.

BFT is aight

That's it

It's aight

I also forgot bout Future with HNDRXX and FUTURE

It's no ST06 but I thought it was pretty good and envelope pushing. Vincy wants that white boy money while also getting them to unknowingly sing black power anthems. Never knew I wanted to hear Vince and Kendrick rap over a Sophie beat until then.

Outside of Mask Off and Rent Money I don't really go back to FUTURE but HNDRXX was really good.

man if you think either of those Future albums are better than BFT I just don't know what to say

finished 4:44, thought it was a pretty good album. It meanders a few times but it's really focused in sound and there's a lot of good tracks on here. Far better than MCHG

Draco, Super Trapper, POA, Massage in My Room, When I Was Broke, Feds Did A Sweep, Used to This, Extra Luv

the fact that you honestly feel that way is probably the disconnect here.

how old are you?

I feel like the youngins probably won't like this album.

I fucks with this album so far and Jay ain't released a good album in bout near 10+ years

Hov kinda snapped on "Marcy Me." Like, vintage Jay-Z.

Unfortunately I found most of this bleh. I'm not trying to hear these kinds of soul loops anymore, and Jay's flow since BP3 is so boring. It's definitely his most consistent album since American Gangster, and I like the subject matter, but I haven't been in the mood for this sound for a long long time, and don't see myself revisiting this. I much prefer No I.D.'s work with Vince Staples, Common, and Cocaine 80s in recent years.

Grown folk hiphop son. Go listen to your lil yachtys. and lil uzi verticals. Let us grown folks have ours.
Ain't no such thing as Grown hip hop

Only shit old dusty niggas say when they can't evolve with the times

Tell me why older folk can fuck with Uzi and the newer crop of fun rappers but also fuck with Jay-Z and conscious rappers and the like?
Pretty decent album. Better than BP3 and MCHG.

Ain't a high bar

Literally every beat on this thing.

I definitely can't with fuck with it all. Lil Yachty is horrible but I fuck with Uzi, Carti, 21 Savage, and Xxx. I recently got put on to NBA Youngboy

Fuck X

Boaty ain't great Teenage Emotions was pretty awful actually, but the crop of artists now are smart. Seeing young black dudes a couple years older than me making good business decisions like making Sprite jingles "COLD LIKE A SPRITE SODA", clothing lines, doin whatever along with rapping, makes me happy.

He's definitely a shithead but I like his music. Yeah Yachty getting into all these jingles and commercials for royalties were great career moves. Fuck Joe Budden

"Don't big bro me, no big homie,
I've seen pure aberration become rivals,
I've been to Paris at least two times,
I've seen a Eifel, I've seen a eyeful"

Wow, I posted before reading the thread. I legitimately expected nothing but love here as that's all I've been seeing on Facebook and Twitter.

Opinions and all but damn, this was like entering Earth-2.

Good album. But it really doesn't have any staying power. The meaning of 4:44 couldn't be more underwhelming also. Hope we end up getting more music videos as good as the OJ one.

The ability to listen to it? Of course, it's exclusively streaming on Tidal for all.customers new and old.
About that.

"JAY-Z 4:44 is only accessible to Sprint/TIDAL customers and all TIDAL accounts established prior to June 26th during the exclusive period."

I really like this album, easily his best in years. MCHG was underwhelming to me in terms of artistry but this has some of his best versus and concepts I've heard in some time. It answers the question of what approach does an almost billionaire 47 year old rapper take when it comes to making new music in this era.

All Jay-Z did was kick knowledge for 10 straight tracks. No ID was masterful on this album. If you are looking for club banger than this is not the album for you. If you got some good headphones , you are in for a treat.
