Jay Z's "4:44" is out now.

Liking it more I listen to it. Definitely his best since American Gangster, the Black Album even.

I’ve been reading a bunch of articles on the album and about No I.D’s production. Good stuff.

I don't know what the fuck page 1 was on, but this album is fuckin flames. Meaningful insights into the man as he is today with quality lyrics. Heart-felt apologies, admissions, and discussion of his personal goals for himself and his family. His best work in many years.

That doesn't change the fact it off beat

......................Ok. And you don't have to like it.

My point was that since he created it, there was purpose behind it, meaning he delivered it the way he wanted his listeners to hear it regardless of what you think it should sound like or prefer.

Artists create art.

Yeah, no idea. It's one of the best albums of the year, easily, and while I'm not sure where it stands in Hov's catalog, it's a high point.

The reviews agree (check meta critic), this album is good. First page gaf is wrong. I like the album, the No I.D. production fits jayz well.

I'm glad that it's on Apple Music now.

Nothing about a spotify release yet? I know it's on apple music.

Is there still any smoke with the whole apple might buy tidal music talk?

I think no. The Sprint buy seems like it sealed the deal on anyone else touching TIDAL anytime soon.

He removed all his work from Spotify so don't expect it. They really need to kill their free tier or allow artists to block their stuff from free users.

None of Jay's music is on Spotify (other than Hard Knock Life for some reason) so I wouldn't expect it to come at all. Shit sucks.

Damn near played Family Feud 100 times. Can't wait for the Vinyl hope it has the instrumental.

Songs 4 through 9 is a great 5 song stretch.

Caught Their Eyes - Frank does work on this.
4:44
Family Feud - Whew! Got my subs and tweeters working.
Bam - Although a popular sample it was well done.

4:44 is like a rich nigga who wants fast food but instead of going to THE SPOT he has his Chef on payroll hook him up one with Bison and Gouda cheese and sweet potatoe fries and white wine

It might be good to him but a simple cheese steak and steak fries would have sufficed.

So Kanye would probably have his chef hook him up with....

I don't even wanna try. Unicorn fillets something something something.

Album is too good, I can't believe he put something out this good at this juncture. Bam is fiyah!

Fun song the switch on the drums at the end goes hard.

Gangsta nuh live in a tenement yard
Rude boy nuh live in a tenement yard
Too much watchy, watchy, watchy
Too much su, su, su, su, su
Them chatty, chatty, chatty
Them su, su, su, su, su
Fuck all this pretty Shawn Carter shit nigga, HOV

Okay,

the physical make this a 20/10.

It becomes even better and the bonus songs are all amazing.

If this stands the test of time, it will be another Common "BE".

I finally listened to this album. Is it supposed to sound like a mixtape? Cause that what this sounds like. It sounds like Jay freestyled over a bunch of beats he heard over the radio. I don't like his new Grampa Simpson flow either. I did like his song with Beyoncé. She outshines him on the track.
