Jesus, Ubisoft.

I guess the Destiny box is a secret kind of blue never before discovered.

That shit is purple.

You changed the color :-P - now it is purple - for reference the original:

Whats confusing about what I said? I'd prefer it if they actually said Playstation on the box. It always annoys me when a company uses slang and abbrivations instead of their own name. Kind of like how Kentucky Fried Chicken calls themselves "KFC" now. Look at the old PS boxes:

I mean you don't see Microsoft putting X1 on their boxes.

While I burnt out on the game awhile ago, I understand why so many enjoy playing the games still. Ubisoft makes a lot of money on the series, so I dont blame them for making the game. If there is large audience wanting more, they would be crazy not to make more games. The games are usually high quality each year, that isnt to say the games are bug free, but for a yearly cycle, the games are solid. Each game they try to fix problems with the previous games, introduce new mechanics even though some have fallen flat and try to improve over the last game.

The overall team working on the games is huge, so it would seem easy to put out quality games each year, but other studios have shown, just because you have the team doesnt mean the game will pan out. Having said all that, I dont plan on picking this up, but I dont blame people for wanting to play more. Ubisoft seems to care about the quality of the series and its fans, not just putting out a yearly update ala Madden with the smallest changes to the game.

Isn't anybody else slightly worried that the game's quality will be hindered by the fact that it's coming out on six platforms? I guess Ubisoft does have like a billion studios and this will probably be the norm for the next two years. I'm shuddering to think how long the credits will be.

To be fair, KFC has to go by that name since at least two words in "Kentucky Fried Chicken" no longer apply to their product.

Guys, I took a screenshot of a YouTube video. It's entirely possible that the strange coloration of the PS4 box is due to the video resolution.

Some people here totally have blue/purple colourblindness.

#TeamBlue

Technically both are right, there are many shades of blue and purple that can be perceived either way.

My original pic versus the one I just took again from the OP. I didn't change anything for the fuckteenth time.

That box is purple.

Yes, it's blue. You might need to see an optometrist if you actually think any of those squares are purple.

I gotta admit that the first time I did copy and paste of the picture, not save-open with photoshop. The magenta value was higher no doubt. As far as I know, sometimes web images can display different color presets depending on the user color config. This drove me crazy a while back, I was taking screenshots and they'd change slightly the tone when looking at them with photo viewer.

Yeah, he didn't change it. It's the contrast between the AC and the Destiny box that messes with your perception. Hold one hand over the Destiny box and switch between the images, it's the same color.

EDIT - the box is blue though

I know right? If only there was a blindness related to colors . . .
As you can see in the picture posted above we have a Pruplegate on our hands...
