Jet Set Radio Vita delayed for optimizations

If we're talking NA users, it was actually supposed to come out today. So a few hours before release. :lol

They did the same with the PC version of NiGHTS "Here's the release of the game! Oh and PC gamers get to buy it in a few months!", I gave up on expecting Sega digital games to be released on time, at least then I won't be disappointed.

Ha! I just bought it on Steam. Take that SEGA.
Enjoy!

You'll still buy it on Vita in a few months for a handheld version!

LMAO. Well, at least it saves me some money this week. Street vs Juggle (and inflicting pain on myself) next week with AC3, eh Gents?

Oh for fucks sake. You ruin every shred of hype I ever feel for you these days Sega.

Very unhappy about this delay. I've been anticipating today's release for months, ever since the date was announced. And now at the last minute, delayed again?!

Ok Sega, do your optimizations. But it had better be worth it, and NOT take more than a week or two. I'm still very interested in this game, being an old Dreamcast fan, but damn this delay hurts.

Furthermore, why couldn't they keep today's release date, and just release an optimization update later?

CRAZY UNFOUNDED STAB-IN-THE-DARK PREDICTION:

They're holding it to be released free for PS+

Hmm. Well, for $10 I'd rather just buy it today.

I'm guessing there were a few terrible, terrible A bugs that couldn't be fixed in time. If the framerate is fixed, then I think the wait is worth it!

Typical.I've been waiting for the vita release for ages, even skipping the console/PC version for the vita and it gets delayed on the last day.

I'm speechless.

Despite having already bought two copies of the digital release (PC & PS3), i'm still damn annoyed. I wanted my Jet Set on the go.

Confirm future and it's all good Sega.

This game appears to be very buggy despite the delays. It has forced me into the pause menu multiple times after loading a stage (rebooting the game seems to fix it each time), and it randomly crashes in the middle of a stage, prompting a 'do you wish to report this problem' screen. I have yet to run a session of JSR on Vita without one or both or these problems occurring.

Being a pretty stressful game at the best of times, this is infuriating.

I don't even know how it's possible to fuck this up.

Had the pause menu glitch happen to me. Thought my start button was stuck in the system at first.

I've only run into the constant pause issue once and I've completed the first four missions. Was infuriating though, just shutting and reopening it didn't work. Had to power off the vita and turn it back on to fix the issue(yes, had already done so to get the game to work in the first place) Otherwise It's worked well, Jet Set Radio Controls aside, and looks really nice. Still hard for me to play in general after Future.

Me too! It happened the very first time I loaded the game - went straight to the tutorial and BAM... YOU MUST PAUSE. A quick google said a reboot of the game fixes it, and sure enough it was fine after that. Next session, load a stage... BAM - YOU MUST PAUSE SOME MORE.

Hmmm. I'll try a full shutdown and see if that helps.

Apparently the US version was released with a patch that fixes most problems, but the EU version doesn't feature it and Sega has no plans for a future release...at least that was someone close to the dev team told me.

I have not encountered anything like that outside of the very first launch. Finished the entire game with no issues. Ran better than the 360 port even.

Still, seems like it needs a patch. US version here.

I had no problems with the EU version (PS+)
But I only played a couple of missions, I can't stand the controls ._.
