how the flying fuck did this become JSR v JSRF?
That's not difficulty, that's bullshit. That's like saying the slowdown in some districts was part of the difficulty. I enjoyed the game, got 100%, but it was pretty much a cakewalk outside of a few areas where it just felt broken. Sewers was another spot where it felt like the devs were just giving me the middle finger.People think JSRF was easy? Man I sure had trouble trying to navigate some of those open levels....Skyscraper District FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
PEOPLE WEREN'T MEANT TO CLIMB SKYSCRAPERS IN ROLLER BLADES
How many PS3 PSN games are playable on Vita?

Who knows....especially when JSR is obviously the better of the two. JSRF took everything that made JSR great and bastardized it.

I've been replaying the game for the first time in years, and I'm still in love with it.
Fight or Flight really shows what the game is all about. You are not going to get JET without a plan. The rocket pack gunners will follow you everywhere and kill you. There is a good chance it will be very intense as you try to beat the clock/avoid dying. It wasn't as hard this time since I partly remembered how I did it, but it was still very satisfying and incredibly fun. Which actually brings me to my one complaint: once you beat a level and save you have to go through the other levels to play it again. I wanted to keep playing it for score.
Even though Cube is my favorite, I mainly use Gum (for graffiti scoring) and Mew (for speed).[/QUOTE]
I didn't know the Dreamcast could output that resolution.
Probably stuff like this:
De La had the European soundtrack, so it used the European extra songs.Mostly. I think De La Jet Set Radio did not have the new songs to go with the new stages.
^^played Planet Harriers this weekend.
You found an arcade cabinet, or via emulation?
We need the damn game. That, Panzer Dragoon Orta/other Panzer Dragoon games and Sin & Punishment 1/2 would be railgun heaven on PSN/XBLA (but I believe Nintendo owns S&P).
I'm sure SEGA still has rights to Orta as well. Lots of potential for reviving missed gems from last gen for SEGA, especially with their failed Xbox 1 support. Gunvalkyrie, Shinobi PS2, etc please.
Sadly, every JSR thread becomes that. Similarly to how FF threads turn to "which one is the best" debates.
I'm cool with it though, if it gives this thread mor attention.
Legit sit-down cab. It was glorious.
"^^played Planet Harriers this weekend. Shit was fire."
Yo, I was telling people about this game in the Rez thread. I wasn't joking.
Played it while I was in Japan. I'm not lying when I say tears started rolling out of my eyes. It was so beautiful.
Fuck, I just knew if I updated my avatar to something no one had, some dev would go re-release said game and I'd be under a pile of similar avatars again! Fuck you Sega!
A loving fuck.

"Planet Harriers was great, too bad it didn't receive a Dreamcast port."
It wasn't a Naomi game, but a Hikaru one, so a port would've required more effort than the usual Naomi ports the dreamcast got. I don't believe any of the Hikaru games have been ported to any system, unfortunately.

Shenmue 1&2
Daytona USA 2
Nights into Dreams
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Dragon Force
Scud Race
Planet Harriers
Propeller Arena
Jet Set Radio Future
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Sega Rally 1 (Arcade version)
We need them in HD Sega.
Sega is fucking idiot if it doesn't significantly tap into the gold mine of old ip's before this gen ends. Compare that to the investment dollars sunk into Binary Domain that is going to see the majority of its sales at bargain bin prices.
I hate to break it to you but those games don't have a market outside a few thousand message board types. It's a waste.

JSRF is broken while the inferior JSR is not. come on.That's not difficulty, that's bullshit. That's like saying the slowdown in some districts was part of the difficulty. lol investment dollars? Binary Domain's gotten ads up on game websites and that's about it. Don't know where you guys think Binary Domain's getting this huge marketing budget. I haven't seen a real Sega marketing push since Bayonetta

do the dollars invested in developing the game not count as investment dollars?
The digital ip's will have a superior ROI to Binary Domain. Take business 101 before you lol me.
I see your point, but that didn't stop games like Space Channel 5, Rez, Daytona USA and Virtual On to get the HD treatment.
I will only consider buying this if it's called Jet Set Radio and not Jet Grind Radio. Dumbest name change ever.

When you think about it, Jet Grind Radio, makes a lot more sense or at least more sense than what you just wrote.
Why was the name changed? It wasn't a legal thing?
