Is it really so hard to understand? Why do we watch anything? Some people find streams and shit entertaining, maybe they like to watch them because they like the person playing the games? Maybe they like to watch high level play? Maybe they like to watch them because they have found out that they might find some insight or new things or humor on the stream or because they find the community activity enjoyable?

I've always thought that it was an utter waste of time watching some stranger on the internet play a game when I could be using that time to play something myself.
