Even if it is, I think you're probably missing the point on why people find this entertaining in the first place. It's not because they think it's funny to crank call the woman that draws the laughs from wrestling fans, it's mostly empathy induced laughter with the woman and seeing her be put through the same shit that's been shoved down their throat for 10 years ad nauseam. In other words, sometimes seeing from an outside perspective someone going through the same absurd shit you are is therapeutic in a way, sort of like laughing at something embarrassing 5 years after it happened, I guess. At least that's why I think it resonated with me so well. I flat ass stopped watching wrestling back around 2007/8 because I couldn't stomach it anymore due to how shoved down your throat this guy was. So the "WE DONT LET WRESTLING IN THIS HOUSE ANYMORE" and then being slammed over the head with the theme music over and over and over again clicked with me, because I no longer watch wrestling and I fucking hate that stupid god damned entrance theme of his.
