Odd, it has never been proven that Epstein committed suicide, let alone that Lennon drove him to it. He was addicted to prescription drugs and overdosed on them. If he committed suicide, having to stay in the closet and having a reduced managerial role with the Beatles were more likely causes than Lennon allegedly calling him a, "rich Jew fag".
I dont believe he beat his wives, but he did admit to beating up girls when he was a teen. He said he regretted deeply, and he sang about peace to overcome his inner anger. He treated his first wife badly though, cheated on her with hundreds of groupies, and worst of all Yoko. He never wanted to marry her in the first place, it was a shot-gun wedding, not that it makes his actions excusable. He also neglected his first son badly.
I always believed that Lennon was a hypocrite. Maybe Lennon was two people, the one he was, deeply flawed, and the one he wished to be, a hippie saint. I really dont care. His 15 years as a recording artist are unmatched as far as Im concerned.
