Hey man, I'm still keeping a few aspects of my deck of cards secret. And it finally comes out.
How are you managing with Vesperia Ps3? Is it difficult?
Are you using the 360 transcript to go through the story mode?
Xenosaga is on US PSN?
Hey man, I'm still keeping a few aspects of my deck of cards secret.![]()
I didn't really care about the plot translating as I know it all already and I also know the general story behind Patty. I did use the Aselia wiki to help with Artes, Skills, and Titles as it has both English and Japanese for those. I used another wiki for items. I don't know any Japanese.
When playing through the game's story, I only used a sidequest guide.
I also, thanks to many playthroughs (more than my list says lol) knew what enemies I remember having to kill alot for items, where the good search points were. So when it came time to do all the synthesis, I pretty much had everything already. I did have to look u a few things though.
I'm working on platinuming it at the moment. Generally speaking, it's not difficult. I wouldn't usually play a Tales game in Japanese though, it's just the I enjoyed Vesperia so much.
What? Presence of stats equals RPG. Metroivanias are thoroughly RPGs but the Metroid games aren't. But I digress.

How did I forget DIGIMON WORLD 2 in my list, that game is AWESOME. Also this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F8jvPBo02I
Xenosaga is on US PSN? (I haven't honestly looked) Maybe I should look into it sometime... wish they could release the US versions on the UK store but eh. Licenses stuff or whatever...![]()
I love the game and I know there are a ton of people on GAF who hate the game but I consider it to be one of the shining RPG experiences on the 360. Plus it has the best Sakuraba OST of all time.
Aeana's list is far bigger than mine.
And I think she's played a lot of KRPGs, CRPGs, WRPGs, etc. Sooooo...
I liked Eternal Sonata presentation and battle-wise (on NG+). I think the soundtrack is wonderful.
No it isn't. I mean I imported the series during the PS2 days. As for US PSN, there are a lot of non UK PS1/PSP RPG's available
Depends on how annoyed I feel. Are you going Yu-Gi-Oh! on me? lol.
omg that reminds me that I want to import the Digimon Adventure game. >_<Seda said:How did I forget DIGIMON WORLD 2 in my list, that game is AWESOME.

Aha, how in the world could I be annoyed with you? I shouldn't have been so blunt.Oops. Sorry. Didn't mean to annoy.
Ugh, I should've gotten that instead of ordering Zero Evolution, Time Travelers, and Conception the other day. >_<Stuart444 said:I already have it pre-ordered and paid for. Can't waiteverything I've seen about it looks fantastic.

I'll see what I can do about it by the end of the week. I really want it. (Tamers should be next because CORONA DESTROYER)
Sometimes I dunno which one I like more. 3 or 2. Depends on the day.
I see. Actually having already played it in English helps a lot!
I think I'll play it next year, even if I haven't played the 360 version.
I do understand some Japanese though.
Holy shit, do you guys only play JRPGs or something?
I'm about 50% JRPGs, 40% WRPGs, and 10% everything else (Occasional MMO, Strategy, and Action/Adventure (usually stealth-based) games). There are a lot more RPGs that I've played but haven't finished for one reason or another.
Sometimes I think that way and then I go play 3 and I then I'm like, "man, I like how fast this is." See, it definitely depends on my mood. Not even a contest, 2 all the way.
That's what I'd originally thought the Digimon World games (and the Monster Rancher games, actually, now that I'm thinking about things from that era) were going to be like--following the narrative of the anime. So... if I wanted an ideal Digimon game, and if it's decent, Adventure might be it.Haha, I just hope it's successful enough that Namco thinks there is value on making games like that which are faithful to the series it is based on. (considering it's basically going through the anime and all with extra side stuff and an epilogue story).
Ah well, hope it is successful either way, looks great![]()
What. you need to tell me this info later.Oh. T_T I can't read posts for crap anymore. It's okay. I have secret cards in my deck too.
In all seriousness though, I wish this thread would turn into a more interesting/thoughtful discussion about RPGs rather than listing out all games we've played.

The list is based off what's listed on RPGamer. I'm not listing DLC or MMOs. It's probably pretty complete, but I'm sure I've missed some old PC RPGs.
I'll get to it eventually. When I played the first game I didn't bother completing the massive optional dungeon and I've considered downloading a complete save game so I don't miss out on anything important in Arc II.

Damn. Lists galore.
One thing that really stands out for me about all these lists is how few of them are for current gen consoles, well in terms of what I would consider the best titles anyway.
With JRPG's retreating to handhelds, and it seems so many living in a shadow of uncertain localisation and declining sales, I kinda fear for the future of RPG's in the West
Oh, I'm sorry. I completely missed this. KRPG = Korean RPG (ex: Crimson Gem Saga, Zenonia, Magna Carta, etc.)I did enjoy Encore mode by having Level 6 from the start. And what's a KRPG?
I remember that thing being hell my first time through, but the quest you get in Arc II as a result of doing that dungeon is way worth it, but getting a complete Arc 1 save seems like a better alternative to something that would be reduced to tedium.archnemesis said:I'll get to it eventually.
