Can someone post a pic of a typical UK judge please...?
Judge John Deed.

I can imagine thinking the S3 looks cool if I were 15.
And it were the year 2000.
What shame for Apple. Now every visitor to their website will be legally required to inform people that their products are cooler than their competitors.
you don't sound mad at all...
Mad about what? I think the ruling is kind of hilarious.
Or do you mean 'mad' because I think that the S3 is one of the crappest phone designs (at least for what is supposed to be a flagship product) in years?
s3 looks pretty slick yo.
Samsung Series 9 Laptops are cooler than any Apple laptop.

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree?

I was of the mindset it was crap too, than I got a S3 yesterday. Seeing and holding it does wonders for it. I too would describe it as slick.
I had a brief-ish fiddle with one in a store. I thought the materials are pretty nice but the aesthetic of the thing is ghastly. I think what Sharp and Sony Ericsson have been doing with their flagship phones (as well as Nokia and Apple, but I'm talking in terms of Android here) absolutely outclasses Samsung aesthetically.
Such poetic justice. At least in the UK common sense and decency prevail. Wake up USA, your patent system is fucked.

Judge says otherwise. The copying goes both ways don't pretend Apple is any different. The patent system is fucked.
But it would be justice if Samsung was likewise required to show all the things they've clearly tried to copy from.
Samsung needs to patent being cool and sue Apple.
But a judge just ruled Samsung isn't cool. Can't Apple just reference this trial and say a judge already deemed Apple had it before Samsung?
