3. Mark Henry beat Bobby Heller. Heller is a local wrestler from the Philly area. Henry destroyed him in a squash with two World Strongest Slams and a killer backbreaker.

Henry grabbed a chair, but Teddy Long stopped him from using it by saying he had a lawsuit pending and no one wants to fight him. Sheamus mades his entrance and said he will fight Henry. Sheamus slapped Henry and then tossed him out of the ring. Sheamus grabbed a chair and Henry retreated.

Really? I don't want to see that feud -

... No, changed my mind. That'll be fine.

Former WWE writer and ROH executive Dave Lagana recently wrote a new blog, focusing on WWE Superstar CM Punk:

"The Anaconda Vice became one of the things that the agents picked on Punk for. Vince had mocked Punk in meetings by doing the wrist gesture and even instructed announcers to NOT mention his Muai Thai background. Everything that made Punk unique was questioned and mocked. 'Don't think people can relate to with a character who doesn't have an occasional beer,' said one agent. In 2006, Vince McMahon looked at Punk and 'didn't get it.'"

Lagana also talked about how a WWE Hall Of Famer ended up changing the way Punk was perceived with management. "In that meeting in Houston, Shawn brought up that guys like him and Undertaker will not be around forever and, while everyone liked (Bob) Holly, it was guys like Punk who were the future.

"The mood in the room changed, the den of negativity that existed was silenced for the time being. Punk wasn't pushed strong that week or even the next week but the ship had turned. Punk was positioned better from that point forward."

HBK is your true god, Punk fans.

Well that was pretty awesome. Jon Davis/Bobby Fish got started and Steen ran down to interrupt getting the match thrown out. Bobby Fish got on the mic and challenged Steen to a match, Jon Davis agreed and said he'd kick both guys asses and the result was a pretty awesome brawl. Finish came after Steen low blowed Fish, Davis hit the pounce on Steen and then hit his airplane spin/falcon arrow finisher on Fish for the win. Steen brawled at ringside post match and was dragged from the building by security.

4. Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga defeated The Uso Brothers to retain the WWE Tag Titles. The Uso Brothers did their tribal dance to no reaction whatsoever. New Nexus came out to Justin Gabriel's theme song. Weird. The Uso Brothers showed a lot of energy and worked in some double team moves. However, McGillicutty hit his neckbreaker to get the win for his team.

Backstage, Ryder booked Ezekiel Jackson in a handicap match against Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes.

Another pointless Johnny Curtis vignette was shown. Wesley said there have been consistent C.M. Punk chants throughout the show.

R-Truth was interviewed backstage by Matt Striker. He said he's going to swoop down like a bunch of eagles on a snake when he faces Orton. Wesley labeled it a great promo.

5. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase beat Ezekiel Jackson in a handicap match. Decent heat for the heels. The paper bag men were out for the crowd. DiBiase started and was getting destroyed. He tagged Cody, who tagged back to Ted. DiBiase applied a sleeper. Zeke picked him up with one arm. Zeke had Cody in the Torture Rack, but Ted broke it up and Cody hit CrossRhodes for the win.

Jinder Mahal and The Great Khali cut a promo from a luxury suite. It was hard to make out what was said since there was great heat and USA chants.

Oh, I forgot, but I really wanted to thank Bootaaay for his contribution to my breakfast this morning. It's been so long since I've enjoyed a nice garbage match with my morning omelet. The syringe spot really went well with the smoked salmon.

WrassleGAF has done something to me. Every time I hear "home," "stars," "miles away," "seasons," and "change," I think of those damn overused songs in WWE promos.

I'm still a little shocked at Bootaaay appreciating garbage wrestling.

Hey, garbage wrestling can be cool sometimes, although it is inherently stupid - I love BJW from around 99-01 when Honma was chasing the title and getting destroyed by Shadow WX, and when CZW guys like Zandig and Wifebeater invaded. All those crazy outdoor shows against guys like Honma & Yamakawa were just insane, Zandig getting dragged around by a car, Honma bleeding like a stuck pig, setting the damn ring on fire, one disgusting table spot after another. Madness.

Does this mean he won't be wrestling anymore? :(

seems like he's still making heel decisions too like booking zeke in a handicap match, makes no sense

6. R-Truth beat Randy Orton by DQ. Truth came out to a little heat, while Orton got the thunderous ovation. R-Truth received "sucks" chants and sold it by looking pissed. Truth got in a lot of offense and some near falls. Orton came back and then Christian came out. Randy hits a DDT off the ropes and struck the Viper's Pose.

Truth saw the RKO coming and dipped out of ring. Christian distracted Orton. Truth got his water bottle and hit Orton with it. Orton mocked Truth and drank water. He followed up with a Thesz Press and punches. Orton hit Truth with a chair for a DQ. Christian ran to the stage. Orton hit a pair of RKO's on Truth on the announcers' table to big pops.

We just ain't civilianized enuff to 'ppreciate the subtlety of a syringe spot.

Top Three Subtle Things, According to WrassleGAF (In Ascending Order):

3) Leonardo da Vinci's brush strokes in the Mona Lisa.

2) The nose of salty sea breezes in an exquisite 2007 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

1) Some Japanese dude jamming a large veterinary syringe into another Japanese dude's dome.

Triple H also said he re-signed Punk late Monday night
. They had better explain this better.

As someone who usually pleads for patience and allowing things to develop: Lame. Getting harder and harder to desperately hope that this angle hasn't peaked already.

Callihan vs Finlay was goddamn awesome, just a proper hard hitting, no nonsense wrestling match. Started out with Callihan realising early on that Finlay was the better wrestler and the better brawler and that he was probably going to get his ass kicked, but he'd give as good as he got, then Finlay just proceeded to brutalise him for the majority of the match, knocking him senseless and working over the leg. Sami sold like a champ and never forgot to continue doing so during his hope spots and come backs, unlike certain Monday night Superstars, while Finlay did a good job of getting frustrated at the constant defiance from Callihan, who looked strong in defeat after kicking out of two Celtic Crosses before finally succumbing to a Tombstone Piledriver. Best match of the night so far - Chuckie T vs Gargano is up now.

Makes me a bit proud that Sami is from my hometown. I remember him from back when he was just a kid with a weird obsession with bodybuilding. Glad it paid off for him.

Now if only he weren't associated with CZW.

Angle peaked at MITB. Once HHH came out you should've known it already turned to shit. Also dream, my old avatar was Domo, but it was a gif so no longer valid. I just choose random shit that I can find. I am thinking of going to a Vader(wrestler) avatar soon.

As usual, it will be up to CM Punk to bail WWE Creative out of another mess with a solid promo on Monday night. He'll have to hard sell us on why he came back to the WWE to work with Doofus a mere 4 days after telling him he was happily unemployed at Comic-Con.

I would have to think long and hard to come up with the last thing Triple H has been directly involved with that DIDN'T turn to shit.

Kharma?
Sin Cara?
The Chaperone?
Taker vs. Triple H at Mania - best match ever crap for a finisher spotfest?
The Little People's Court w/ Hornswoggle?
Any recent D-Generation X feud vs. the McMahons/Spirit Squad/Rated RKO etc.?
Anything from his current 4+ year face run?

I'm really struggling here fellas. I suppose Evolution was cool, right?

Hey Bootaaay, did the Evolve feed die for you too?

No, mines still going, but it seems most of the people in the chat have lost the feed. WWNLive really have to get their shit together, between this and the sound problems at the start. Try refreshing the page if you haven't already.

I just got it back. I don't think this is the first time WWNLive has had problems either. Something went wrong for a Dragon Gate show recently and they had to refund people.

GFL hasn't had any problems on the streams I've bought from them, its a shame WWN can't get their act together.

Well that was a pretty good match, loved both guys using each others moves and countering each other, but it was a bit underwhelming after Finlay/Callihan which should really have been the main event. And yeah, GFL seem to be much more consistent now, although those early ROH iPPVs had a few drop-outs and stuff. I think WWNLive get their replays up pretty quickly though.

Evolution was cool...if you consider they practically buried the entire roster on a weekly basis and Raw was full of 20 minute opening talk segments.

So Punk came back and WWE is running a Raw house show in my hometown September 2nd, problem is Punk's not anywhere in the card, just Miz vs Mysterio in a "grudge match" and Cena vs Del Rio for the WWE title as the main events.

Still a few good seats left but not hyped enough. I think Ryder's in the card as well, so if they add Punk somehow I might bite.

WHAT is the absolute worst possible wrestling "meme" that could have persevered long beyond it's time. Ugh.

Seriously. Instead of great cheer/boo reactions, all we have now are crowds that sit on their hands and say "WHAT" in every promo like it's still funny. Not to mention complete lack of creativity in chants since the WWE went after the kids again.

Triple H is garbage as a face..
Good Point on his involvement in storylines.

REALLY!?

REALLY!?

REALLY?!

Edit: Wasn't "WHAT" a complete adlib by Stone Cold? When he asked Tazz about the shirt he really didn't hear him so he said "What?"

You know, I was thinking about it ever since Rey lost, but are they going to turn him heel?

First the whole Vince thing. Vince bumped Rey's match to next week and Rey was visibly upset. Of course this could mean that Rey just wanted to give the fans what they wanted, but he could have still held feelings for such a thing.

Then Rey wins the title only to lose it in the same night. He could use all this pent up frustration to turn heel somehow, but I wouldn't know how that would fit into the picture of Cena vs. Punk.

With Sin Cara's future currently unknown I think Rey is much like Cena in that they won't turn him heel since he sells so much merchandise.
