June Wrasslin' |OT| Break Out Naan And Do The Needful, It's Time For MaharaJEEEEEZUSS

I've just recently shifted my diet recently to include less processed foods and more salads. It's a good diet and feels like it will help me get some weight off.

You'll feel more full too.

What's the diet like? All the exercise in the world doesn't help sometimes.

May need to cut out things like sugars.

No sodas. No candy. Bread is a problem tho. I went from five coffees a day two weeks ago to just one straight black in morning. I work to spread my daily calorie needs evenly across 4-5 meals including snacks.

Losing weight is 90% diet. For real. Exercise to look good and have muscles and all that, but weight is all diet. You can lose it without picking up a single weight.

Now... I don't recommend that because if you diet and don't exercise all your muscle will disappear.

Granted, maybe you could do it with exercise alone, but are are talking some serious shit like being in the gym all day every day. Ain't nobody has time for that unless it's your profession.

Good call.

I need to do something.

I've been hitting the fucking gym hard. Drinking water. Watching my calories and I'm still not losing weight.

Maybe cycling is in order. Maybe its the 4 hrs of sleep.

FallingEdge , for gods sake, help me out.

I ride my bike ~7 hours a week at moderate to high intensity and I couldn't tell you if I'm losing weight or not.

Diminishing returns, eh? Had not considered that.

To clarify, I get my shit done and get out. I don't linger two hrs in gym spacing out and taking two minute breathers or staring up at the at the TVs in between sets and exercises . Form takes priority. Then weight.

I only spend 45 minutes to an hour at the gym 5 days a week but I make sure to take my off days as off days. A lot of people go into working out thinking they want to lose weight and dont care about muscle building when muscle is what helps you lose weight. If you dont give your body the time and protein it needs to recover, it can't recover and it cant build itself up. My gym manager looks like The Warlord and he's the exact same way.

If you're just starting, you're so deprived you dont need that much protein but its something you should start looking at ASAP. Yogurt, fish, eggs, etc. Need something after a workout. And muscle takes a really long time to build for some people.

Maybe less snacks?

Some breads can be good if you get stuff that's baked fresh with out all of the bullshit in it like most packaged bread.

Good job on cutting out sugar though. That's one I have trouble giving up. Dropping soda made a huge difference though, since that's like a shotgun blast of sugar.

Thanks. I'll keep at it and keep working on things i need to continue to get better at. To be fair, all this is two months in. I need to be more patient and just focus on controlling what i can.

I drink soda rarely and don't really eat bread anymore, same with candy

When I started my diet I ate salads like 4 days a week WITH ranch. I lost 70 pounds. Take that anti-ranch lobbyists!

I mean yeah I also worked out.

I'm at 5'11" 189 pounds w 14% bodyfat and I started doing the exercise thing seriously only like 3 months ago vs the 21% bodyfat 229 pounds I was at 5 months ago

and I mostly eat what I want. I dont follow some super strict guidelines because that'll make you hate yourself and make you quit your ''''diet''''' but I just realize whats terrible and whats not and to have smaller portions. I still have some skinnyfat now but my doctor doesnt want me to go below 185 so now its mostly muscle building to make the fat go away and form into muscle

muscle just takes long as fuck to build

Dude bread ain't good for you. Unless it's like the type you have to choke down because it actually hasn't been pounded into flour, it's mostly all poop.

Watch out for sugar in other things. Yogurt, breakfast bars, oatmeal, cereal, juice, pasta sauce, etc. It's in way more things than you think. And it sucks. At least for me the only sure fire way to keep the weight off is avoid sugar and flower. It's worked for me.

I don't even count calories or worry about fat. I drink whole milk, eat chicken with the skin on, I use butter Etc.
But butter on giant loafs of bread. Nope.

edit: Workout stuff.
I walk and take the straits everyday.
I do stretching exercises three times a week for 30 minutes.
I do lawn work every other week for like 2 hours.
I work out twice a week for like 2 hours.

That's it. 5'8" 150 pounds. Decent four pack.

I'd like to be swole again but too much gym time and protein. I can't eat all that.

Biggest advice I'd give to anyone is to cut soda. Hell, even switch to a good non aspartame diet soda. I prefer Diet Coke w/ Splenda, but there are options. Cutting soda will cut most folks sugar and carb in take down significantly.

This is why you gotta try to cut as much processed food as you can and watch those you do eat.

It's a rarity nowadays, but my diet in general should be better too. I'm trying to implement riced veggies and cut down on rice which is a struggle.

After I move I'm gonna do a lot more cardio too, going up from 0 to...some :p

Definitely. It got old real quick, but I stuck with it because it showed results. Overtime I started to cut back and tried other foods to find a good balance of healthy and variety.

If you have it in you to cut soda to diet soda, you have it in you to cut diet soda. Just remove it completely, you dont need it.

Drink water. Buy a juicer/blender and put that in your water to flavor it. Hell, buy sugar free artificial flavorings. It's got preservatives in it but its still not soda.

Diet Sodas are mostly what I drink at work because I go throw anything else pretty quickly. I can sip on a diet soda and be good with 1 or 2 in a shift. At home, I'm mostly drinking unsweet tea and coffee. Tried bringing that to work, but I down it quicker.

Jericho talked to Big Show and the dude said he does like zero cardio. Guy stopped eating crap and it just took time.

And the only reason he lost weight is because John Cena mocked him.

"Fuck You Cena, I'll SHOW you!"

Cena doing god's work.

Big Show had a notoriously shitty diet. So that makes sense.

If I'm drinking diet sodas, it's usually in small portions.
I'll get a 16 fl. oz. bottle of something and pour a quarter of it in a glass with ice. A bottle usually lasts me like 3 days.

It's weird I know.

Everyone knows the best workout it

Run 10KM
100 Squats
100 Push-ups
100 Sit-ups

EVERY DAY

Running 10KM a day would destroy your knees though. I mean, if you were a marathon runner or something you'd be fine but for the average dude, while 6.2 miles isn't that much, doing it 7 days a week would suck.

lol

That Jericho/Itami house show? Main evented by Bray/Reigns

Reigns won. With a Superman Punch

Didn't even need one spear, a signature was enough. The POWER!!!! Of Roman Reigns

I'm at 210. I think my ideal weight is like 165, so its going to take work.

It was a pretty slow creep over 10 years of being with the same girl.
