Vickie is apparently gone from the WWE. From Powell...

Vickie Guerrero has given her notice to WWE and tonight's segment with Edge was a blowoff angle, according to PWInsider.com. She cited a desire to spend more time at home with her daughters.

Powell's POV: This is a shame because Vickie was the most over heel on most shows. It's nice that WWE sent her off with class by having her work a hog pen match and then having Edge tear her to shreds on the mic. This is just speculation, but Raw is in Charlotte next week, Ric Flair is rumored to be re-signing with the company, and there is a vacant Raw general manager position. Hmm....

Anybody know the reason for Umanga getting released? Quite strange.

So it seems Edge is turning face, Punk going heel, and Umaga is now gone. Maybe more air time for Shelton and Morrison! :)

Fan shoots on CM Punk.

Warning, language! And lol, he mad!

And Lashley speaks on Kennedy.

Bobby Lashley appeared on the Busted Open radio show last night and defended Mr. Kennedy following his recent WWE release. "If somebody says that (Kennedy worked too stiff), I think they need to get a reality check, man. We're wrestlers, we're not dancers. We're not children. If someone touches you a little harder in a friggin' wrestling match and you go crying about it, that's ridiculous.

"I've been punched in the face, kicked, I've been hammered left and right by several different people. I never went crying and said, 'Oh, he hit me too hard.' That's just part of the business of wrestling. It ain't volleyball. It ain't tee-ball. They're grown men, most of which being well conditioned grown men... I had several matches with Kennedy and I never left the match and said, 'Oh, man, you hit me too hard.' I liked the way he worked.

"I didn't think he was too stiff. I worked a lot of people who are top guys that are a lot stiffer than him. Some of the veterans would even say that they work a little snugger out there. It kind of helps. I don't mind if someone works stiff with me because it helps me react a little better. It helps me get into the match a little more."

Thank fucking god. I can't think of any angle she was involved in that wasn't awful. I'm sure Eddie appreciates her honoring his memory by making out with Edge and Big Show on TV.

And LOL at the movie bad guy ending to Raw.
"Hey, I know we triple teamed Batista earlier, but Triple H has a sledgehammer, we should probably attack him one at a time. But make sure you don't do anything till after he's knocked me out."

Flair would be an awful GM...I shudder to see him in a authority position. Eric Bischoff was still the best General Manager of RAW.

I missed the show , what happened with EDGE ? Did he turn face ? Because that would be swell. :D

I am sure he appreciates her making a living for his kids after he died also. She had some serious financial issues after his death, she took a job in the profession that defined Eddy's family. She did a good job of getting over as a heel as well.

As far as she making out with Edge and TBS, did you forget him making out with Chyna in that angle? It is a show and a paycheck.

I'm missing a step in the Edge turns face thing people are clamouring for.

I know its been done before, but the man admitted his marriage was a sham, and he only married Vickie for the power... so that somehow makes him a good guy now? :lol

Please guys i didnt watch the show.... DID EDGE (AWESOMEDGE) TURN FACE?
Please someone tell me!!!! ;___;

That Cena/Miz feud looked like it was going to be so boring and unoriginal. I'm glad the Big Show is involved to freshen things up.

As far as I know, he didn't turn one way or another.
But as pointed out before, the man admitted he married a woman for her power.
Once she lost her power, he divorced her.

I don't know, PG WWE doesn't blur the line between face/heel that much.

Also, maybe I'm missing a step, but why exactly would the WWE turn their most over heel, face right now?

Well CM Punk is going heel... maybe the WWE will balance that turning EDGE.

We don't know if Punk is going heel.
I say wait until Smackdown to have your answers sorted.
I mean they could still swing it to make Punk a face here.

Knowing WWE writing, I bet they still try to force face Punk even when the Hardy girls boo him on Smackdown this week.

I'm not saying they can't, but we damn well know Cena and Hardy share the same fanbase. Pre-teen boys and teenage girls. Since they both sound alike, it'll sound like 10K+ girls booing.

All the WWE needs to do is have Hardy come out and say he may not like what Punk did, but he honors it. Ask for a rematch, and have Punk grant it.

Money's the same no matter who it comes from. I must say though, I do count CM Punk beating Hardy as yet another win for men over women.

I think they're leaning toward turning Punk. A MitB player cashes in at the last match on a PPV against the move over and popular face on Smackdown. While his turn may not exactly spurn this Friday, it could be a show by show basis. I think the same goes for Edge for turning face.

The Umaga story is strange, though. This may setup a triple threat match for The Bash, though, between Edge, Jeff (re-signs?) and Punk.

I'm just thinking about how hilarious would it be if they had heel Punk doing his straight-edge "Im better than you" character against face Jeff Hardy's drug history. :lol

World Wrestling Entertainment has confirmed that Batista will be undergoing surgery on his left bicep later today.

WWE.com notes that Batista is expected to be out of action for four months, which would mean he’d be getting back in the ring this October.
I guess the Dave/Cena feud has got to wait!

Mr. Sam said:
Didn't they already do that?

Twice.

Anyway, these days it's all about THA MIZ!

I thought they only did the feud once... and it was one match.

At this point, it would be wise for the WWE to hold off on it until Mania 26 as it is one of the few main events with the current players that hasn't been ran into the ground.

I thought the same thing.

edit: damn four months for batista.
he just came back!

It would be great with a heel Cena, but we all know there is no way in hell WWE is gonna have Cena be a heel in the lead up to WM26. Maybe they could try to recreate WMX7 Rock vs Stone Cold with both as faces going into the event and a heel turn by one (hopefully Cena). I'd just really love to see Cena as a heel, it'd be so fresh compared to what he is now.

Na, Edge will definitely stay heel. I mean as Penguin said earlier, Edge basically said he married Vickie because she had the power so he could get the belt. But going by WWE logic Edge might as well be a face when he returns because he was being cheered loudly as fuck from his promo last night. Thats really too bad how WWE treated Vickie the last few months on television, most notedly, her tenure in RAW. She was so much superior written in Smackdown. She was the most over heel at that show. "EXCUSE ME!" she have been a fucking t-shirt.

This would be sweet.

Wouldn't it be downright sad if TNA tried to sign Umaga and Vickie? :lol

Ever since CM Punk cashed in his Money In The Bank at the PPV Sunday, there has been a lot of talk as to whether he will turn heel at tonight's Smackdown taping. Steven Fernandes sent this report, which would seem to back up that Punk is turning heel.

"The current announced main event for the WWE Supershows in Salisbury, MD on July 24th and Wildwood, NJ on the 25th is John Cena and Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show and CM Punk, so it looks like they are going ahead with the CM Punk heel turn."
So, Rey and Punk feud to perhaps begin? This seems to indicate it. Though I would figure the Jericho and Rey thing to go on a little further. Maybe for a setup for SS after The Bash...

Rey/Punk and Jericho/Undertaker

Yeah, it's funny they release Kennedy for "complaints" and being oft-injured. Yet Batista is just as bad, and buries other guys in the process. Let's whine to the writers to put myself in main event matches for two straight years. YEAH!

The main title will go to Cena, Orton, or Triple H. Count on it.

I wish MVP would become the champ but I think your right. My bet is that Triple H gets the title in the near future. If he doesn't win it outright at the next show, whomever gets it will just be keeping it warm while they build for Triple H's eventual title run, IMO.

if they let kennedy go they should let batista go also, hes just as injury prone.

Dave's actually worse. The guy TORE HIS TRICEPS FROM THE BONE BY JOGGING. Do your own math.....

You have to wonder if the guy has ever been drug tested. Maybe being friends with HHH has it's benefits.... like knowing in advance when to hop off the juice.

Orton will get it and have a face Triple H chase him for the title.

UGH.

They WILL sign Umaga and Kennedy both. They'd be stupiud not to. Umaga's one of the best "big men" out there and Kennedy has a TON of upside.

As for Vickie.... well... her brother in law, Hector, already works there. But she has said it's time to spend with her family.

Taz and Angle left to "take some time off" too, but Angle went directly to TNA and by reports, Taz is going there too (rumor).

Umaga being released without reason is just odd.

One, why do people continue to try and make Kennedy look like a victim in this whole ordeal? Sure there may be different rules for him and some of their main event stars... but they are main event stars already.

Two, I'm sure there is a reason to Umaga's reason just because it hasn't been made public doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
