I really don't know how they managed to decide to use that shot on a pretaped show. On a live PPV I can understand if they make a mistake but that shot was intentionally chosen. It really amazes me just how bad TNA can be.
 
I'm also amazed that they cut to commercials in the middle of matches on a pre-taped show. It happens in pretty much every match they have on Impact.

Well it seems that anyone within HHHs inner circle gets away with a lot more than others. Orton, Batista and Jeff Hardy especially. Hunter himself is apparently on a contract that means he doesnt need to be tested.

Yes, by all accounts they are good friends and HHH was behind his push. It was a long time ago i heard about the contract thing so i dont remember exactly, but basically his official contracted title is not that of wrestler but something else, and because only wrestlers are required to have the tests he is exempt.

A few people have asked me why I chose to go to TNA. Not nearly as many as have suggested that I go to TNA over the past couple years, but it has been been asked. Before I can answer that, I have to address why I left WWE. I left because I didn't enjoy my role, and I didn't see it changing. That, in addition to the brutal travel schedule, made it an easy choice for me to walk away and leave the opportunity available to one of the scores of female wrestlers who were anxiously awaiting their chance.

TNA approached me with the offer to come to their organization, work a less rigorous schedule, and more importantly, wrestle to the best of my ability with no limitations.

It's a shame, too. Even now, Kelly Kelly and Maryse are getting the upper-time on RAW when the likes of Beth Phoenix, roast beef, Natalya, and Katie Lea are stuck below them (or on separate shows, same difference). Whoever writes RAW needs to realize the Women's Division sucks currently, and they should focus more on storylines and women who can actually pull off a fairly decent match; not two who have Barbie Doll good looks and botch move after move.

It was posted earlier that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is planned to become the new General Manager of RAW. Mike Johnson reports that as of yesterday, WWE was still considering their options for the new General Manager role.

It seems Dave's injury may be a cover up from the drug testing recently done. Nothing set in stone here, but there's just been misconceptions about the relative injury.

Obviously wouldn't shock me, but it's funny how WWE wouldn't punish him but others.

The best example I can remember is Batista's inability to pick up Foley before Mania 20.

Here you have a guy who looks like a powerhouse monster... yet even with Foley pushing off, he STILL couldn't get Foley off the ground to powerbomb him.

There was a PPV (I cant remember which one) that Batista botched the Batista Bomb on Umaga.
On the other hand,you have Goldberg doing an amazing Jackhammer on Big Show while mantaining him on a 'flag pole' for like 5 seconds or more. CRAZY

That was probably Mania 24, I believe Batista fell the other way.

Anyhow, does anyone get WGN America?

Been watching the Savage DVD and its quite..

Well I enjoy the content, but its just like Matt Striker and Maria talking in between matches. I expected more promos or a documentary type deal.

Also, the bonus features are a little weird. They have Savage/Liz's wedding on Disc 1, but it doesn't cover that far.

But the footage of when Liz becomes Savage managers is covered on disc 2 yet the actual discussion was on disc 1.

To be fair to Kelly Kelly, she's improved a ridiculous amount since she first came on. She seems to have the drive to become a better ringg performer, and she reminds me quite a lot of Trish Stratus when she first came to the wrestling world.

But yeah, they should be using their actual female wrestlers more.

Yeah the filter or whatever looks weird. The graphics like name plates look like they move slower too.

Also what's up with people winning by count outs these days?
 
Maybe one of the production guys just fell asleep on the JoMo slow-mo button.

I couldn't even tell if his entrance was slowed down like usual or if it was just the shitty feed. Shit looks horrible.

Punk should start dropping in the "better than you" line here and there while he is playing this tweener role so that it really becomes part of his heel character when he turns. Anyone else notice Jericho saying it about Punk? Wonder how intentional it was since he has said he is an ROH fan.

Definetly, both the Black vs Dragon main events have been great, but the 4-way last week just blew everything else away - easily the best TV match of the year.

Did anyone watch ROH Take no Prisoners 2009 last night? Check out one of the replays if you can, it looks like a great card and is ROH's final PPV until at least 2010;
