God Rey is terrible on the mic..."Why don't you do me a favor Jericho and SHUT. UP."

Oh great comeback Rey!

And I love Jericho's face when Rey starts speaking in Spanish...it's that "wtf did you just say?" look :lol

holy bad editing by WWE during Jericho/Rey

Yeah, that was terrible :lol :lol

Jericho is a natural on color commentary..."Grisham you don't know what you're talking about, be quiet and learn" :lol

Jericho's fucking awesome :lol

And after stealing Raw on its own show, Smackdown has the show of the week... well since the draft.

And interesting bouts for the Bash, curious if they add an Edge/Morrison match.

Wait there was a Morrison Vs EDGE match???
It was good? Damn i missed it

Great bout between Edge and Morrison. I hope to see a feud between these two this summer. The great counters and impact moves were so nicely done. :)

Have yet to watch Punk and Mysterio.

Morrison > Miz confirmed. Oh god, what an awesome match. Also, 10 extra points for mentioning Tim Hortons in his promo.

I <3 the Shaman of Sexy.

Good to see Morrison being given mic time as well as ring time with guys like Jericho and Edge.
Just got some CHIKARA DVDs in, looking forward to watching them.

I've got King of Trios Night 2 and the best-of 2007 and 2008. I just ordered PWG 99 and 101. I've spent more on wrestling this year than every other year combined.

The Generico vs Kota Ibushi vs Jigsaw vs Nick Jackson on KoT Night 2 is amazing. Quite possibly my MOTY so far.

Anyone know how Smackdown has been doing in the ratings since the draft/ Punk WHC?
It's ridiculous how much better that product is than Raw and I was hoping it was reflected in the ratings.

There will be a Mitsuharu Misawa Memorial Show taking place at the Differ Ariake Arena in Tokyo on Saturday, July 4.

The location is symbolic as it was the first place that ran a Pro Wrestling NOAH show and is next to the promotion’s headquarters. NOAH is getting help from both All Japan and New Japan promotions.

Apparently, John Laurinaitis wants WWE to take part as well, even if WWE barely had any type of history with Misawa. The only known history was a WWF/All Japan super show that they did in 1990 with Bret Hart facing Misawa in a singles match, the latter wrestling as Tiger Mask II at the time. Laurinaitis, on the other hand, was working for All Japan during the decade period when Misawa was the top guy. He even wrestled against him, though mostly in tag matches.

According to Wrestling ObserverFigure Four Online, the former Johnny Ace is using whatever push and pull he can to send a couple guys to participate on the show. It is being said that two guys he has in mind to send are World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Evan Bourne.

WWE does have a couple Japan shows scheduled for the SmackDown and ECW brands on July 7 and 8. However, the two brands are in San Diego, California on July 3 and Honolulu, Hawaii on July 5. Punk would be a long shot to take part in the Misawa Memorial Show. Even if he would want to go, which is probable since he was the only one to honor Misawa on last Monday’s Raw show, he is the World Heavyweight Champion and is being advertised for both the San Diego and Honolulu shows. Bourne is not advertised on either of the shows, so they would be more accepting of sending him.

Still, there is no official word if WWE will even give Johnny Ace the okay.

It's only a channel nobody has. Low ratings are to be expected. Still, at this rate, 'iMPACT!' will be beating it this time next year. That will be a sad day for professional wrestling.

Impact has been doing 1-1.3s for 2 years.

Isn't King of the Mountain technically up to 5 falls?
And ladder matches don't really fall into the realm of "falls" but okay. :lol

Wait... he is eligible on a DQ before the match starts? :lol

How i hate you US guys for having Wrestling and wrestling books... i want my EDGE book!!!!!

Any of you read Jericho's book? I read it recently and would definitely recommend it.
Tore through it in a week. LOVED it.

I've met the guy and he comes off just the way he does in his book. Nice, full of humor and humble. He's not forgotten just how much shit he had to go through to get to where he is.

I have the Edge book... not very good. It's before he turned heel so not a lot of the "Lita" thing was covered or anything after it when his career blew up big time.
