This is what I was thinking... Everything about this felt like a Syfy original movie or something low budget. I'm surprised Chris Pratt's fans aren't worried since this movie could damage his career.

Chris Pratt is in the stage of his career where he has to show he has some kind of appeal. Can he make roles work? Even if they are bad roles in bad movies? Is he a consistent positive in the movies hes in?

You have to pay your dues in Hollywood before you get to do the Oscar bait movies.
