And it won't when it's finished. What is your point?

The big problem with a trailer like this is that the CGI is always garbage because they're always working on it until the last moment. I don't really understand why no one has figured this out - either minimize your CGI in your trailer or have your basic trailer shots given priority very early on. It's part of the difficult dichotomy of blockbuster trailers in that everybody yells at you for judging a piece of marketing intended to convince you to judge the movie worthy of your dollars. It's the thing where people will accuse you of jumping to conclusions while they jump to the conclusion that the film looks awesome and you're just a hater and DAY FUCKING ONE YEAH

6+ months is a heck of a lot of times to improve CG.

I have to ask, why would they think it's a good idea to create a new species of Dinosaur? Just saying it, it feels like a bad idea.

That was... meh. It's like they are trying to make it all misterious and stuff but the plot already looks like it'll be like the 1st movie but with twists here and there and with more people involved. CG doesn't look that believable also, can't believe I'm saying this but the dinosaurs and effects from the original movie looked more believable than what we saw here. Of course the movie is not finished so there's hope they can improve that. Still, it's exciting this franchise is coming back.

CG looks shit.
Script seems like it's shit.
Pratt is hard to take serious.
That last scene was corny as shit.

This doesn't look good at all.

Yes. This is exactly it. It's also sad how so many people are OK with just getting another dumb movie.

I'm a huge Jurrasic Park fan but it doesn't mean I have to like whatever shit they put the Jurassic Park name on. This looks way too stupid.

Will watch day one and hope its good.

After the soul-destroying JP3 this is a breath of fresh air so it's understandable to me how fans are excited. The fact that this is incredibly divisive from the start kinda tells me that JW is taking huge risks, and that means new avenues could be opened for the franchise. The Lost World (which I enjoy very much) was also campy, dumb and action-focused, so I'm hoping JW will at least live up to that.

Then again it's the matter of seeing potential instead of despair, and both views are legitimate at this point because there's so little to go on.

I know people keep saying 6 months blah, blah, blah. But can a lot change in 6 months? Serious question, I would imagine what they've shown in terms of cg is complete if not then it must certainly be near the visual fidelity they're aiming for.

No.

Is it normal to have a trailer out 7 months before the movie? never payed much attention to this kind of thing.

Not feeling it to be honest but I'm sure ill still see it in theaters.

Definitely not feeling Pratt in this after the trailer. Not like its much to go on either.

Everything about those attractions looks extremely dangerous.

Like what happens if people startle the Stegosauruses on the canoe tour?

I really do not like the idea of the genetically modified Dino, why do we need it? There are so many REAL amazing dinosaurs that have never had an appearance on film.

This is gonna continue the trend of awful JP movies, I bet.

But look at my username, I'm STILL gonna watch even though I know I won't like it.

EDIT: ^Agree with the above. Could have introduced new dinosaurs to the public. Carnotaurus (I know they were in the Lost World novel) would have been rad.

I like the idea of the park being open, having visitors, and basically just being able to see the park finished and operational.

I'm not crazy about the created dinosaur part of it.

Dr. Indiana Jones, Dinosaur hunter, mathematician and biologist.

They couldn't afford a real director and they apparently couldn't afford three interesting characters so they had to roll them all into one?

Ugh.

The best JP moment was when that feathery raptor snuck on the airplane just to wake up Alan then disappear. That was one damn hilarious raptor. I want to see him again hopefully they can replicate that scene. That prankster needs to wake up Pratt on a plane or train or something.

I find the lack of the T-Rex disturbing. I hope they are saving her for what could be a awesome showdown. Raptor squad is fun and all, but I need the T-Rex to kill this genetic hybrid.

this movie has dinosaurs, so I'll watch it, hopefully it turns out better than 2 & 3... specially 3

the raptors scene threw me a little off, but then I was ok with it

Dat makes sense. but still. Dinosaurs as they are naturally are pretty rad as hell <3
Well of course, to us obviously :P

In the film, visitors have just been seeing the same stuff for the last decade, it's understandable to want to create the next wild thing to attract people again. Theme parks do this all the time.

Yeah they should make a new kind of human that has the sense not to create unbeatable man eating animals.
