Can't say I'm too impressed. There better be a lot of cool deaths in this.
I really do not like the idea of the genetically modified Dino, why do we need it? There are so many REAL amazing dinosaurs that have never had an appearance on film.
.The point wasn't to have some new big bad.
It was for the park to have some "amazing new attraction" like all theme parks try to do every year.
In World the park has been running for 10 years so many dinosaurs have probably lost their luster by that point.
forgot Park and Rec
In a PG-13 film?
Moneyball.
Zero Dark Thirty.
Her.
There can be cool deaths in a PG-13 movie. The original was PG-13 and had cool deaths, same for Lost World, which had a guy getting ripped in half.

Come the hell on.
That is one of the worst scenes in movie history.
This. They had me until he teamed up with Raptors
RIP Eddie, the only death in TLW I felt really sad about.
Well of course, to us obviously
In the film, visitors have just been seeing the same stuff for the last decade, it's understandable to want to create the next wild thing to attract people again. Theme parks do this all the time.
I remember being annoyed as hell with this scene, because TLW was one of the first full novels I read, and I read it before the movie came out because I was so hyped. I was like 12 years old, so this was my first time I had been aware of how different books and movies can be. Anyway, his character didn't even fucking die in the book, yet we had to put up with Vince Vaughn's annoying as hell character.
Did they intentionally make her nipples lopsided and misaligned? Haven't see the show in a decade.
I wish I didn't know what franchise it was from, because it retroactively hurts the originals knowing thats coming up.I don't even want to know the name of the movie. It's disgusting.

Why would you start building hybrid dinosaurs with a carnivore?
Other than the obvious "because it's a movie" answer.
Wu says that they could and should make better, slower and tamer dinosaurs. Hammond scoffs at the idea, saying that they have real dinosaurs; who would want more? Wu's reply is that they should not bother with reality because the people coming to see Jurassic Park do not want reality, they want their expectations.

a genetic hybrid herbivore would excite no one lolThe premise is that after a decade of the park being open, regular dinos aren't as captivating as they used to be. The hybrid is worked on to generate interest again as something new, something unseen before.

If you are aiming to create the most exciting new attraction at the park of course you'd go with a carnivore. Most people would name a carnivore if they were to name their favorite dinosaur. It's what the people want to see.
