Excactly....

"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should"

"God help us, we're in the hands of engineers"

So i guess "going the way of the dodo" will soon mean making a comeback after being away for a long time.

someone has to complete the cycle.

Dinosaurs rule the earth

Nature destroys the Dinosaurs

Man Rules the Earth

Man destroys Nature and clones the Dinosaurs

Dinosaur rule the earth

the idea that one day there may actually be something comparable to jurassic park that one could go visit is both thrilling and horrifying. it will be far beyond my lifetime, i'm sure, but. . . wow.

science, baby.

They're similar to birds, which are the direct descendants of dinosaurs, so in theory they could be farmed for their eggs and meat much as chickens are.

I'd love a raptor egg omelette.

Man, Jurassic Park was just on Cinemax. (the credits are going as I type this). It's amazing that the visuals in that movie hold up so well after so many years. The film is 16 years old for goodness sake!

You go back and look at other films from that timeframe like The Lawnmower Man and you see just how special Jurassic Park truly is.

I've seen Jurassic Park way too many times to even count and I still love it.

Luckily, they never made any sequels...

Animatronics ftw

Utahraptor. I'm not sure why we'd want to resurrect dinos as we can hardly live harmoniously with different animal species on earth now.

If there's money to be made with anything, it's going to happen. Whether for good or ill, people will only ask the question of whether they SHOULD do something after they've done it. The question of CAN they do something is for some reason more compelling.
