Had my one plus one for about a year....probably one of the best phones I've ever owned. Just ordered myself a one plus 2. I'll be trading back in my V10 for it. I know I'm losing some hardware and camera quality. However for just zooming the web I shouldn't lose much outside of a $30 a month payment. I really should have just bought non carrier phone in the first place being cheaper. I mean I can't pass up $350 for a good phone!

Any other gaffers using a OP2?

You're supposed to ask that question before you buy it.

Nah....I had faith since I owned the first one lol. Now it's more is there any tidbits of things to do when I get it.

Also...I impulse buy a bit....so sadly buy first think later. I really need to stop. It's how I own half the damn video games I do

I'm actually rocking a One Plus 2 (got an invite from a gaffer too), and to be completely honest, it's okay.

It's a handsome phone, but it doesn't really do anything better or worse than other phones out. But any complaints I can come up with are quickly forgiven when I consider the price I paid for it.

I patiently await the One Plus 3 or whatever it will be called.

It's a pretty good phone. The only complain is that the OS freezes at times and it requires hard reset.

That and the official silicone case is super shit and starts peeling off in a few months.

Don't upgrade to Oxygen OS 2.2. Stay on the previous 2.1.2 release if you can live with it.

2.2 has a major bug where the phone will start to bog down and freeze after a few days, and the only way to temporarily fix it is to reboot the phone.

They have said that an update is coming in the next 3-4 weeks that will fix this and also upgrade it to Marshmallow, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I love my phone. Great battery (i did 6 hours SOT yesterday), a multitasking beast, good general performance (low clocked chip), great game performance, and a camera that's great (but not the best).

They're fine. Just don't expect any warranty support for it.

I had to RMA mine and while the process was a little cumbersome, when they knew the problem was hardware related, I had my phone repaired at home in 3 days.

Yeah, it's been happening for a while. But as I always tend to reboot every few days, so It didn't affect me as much. Hoping the marshmallow update is released soon.

My sisters boyfriend has it and he seems to enjoy it, and it seems snappy enough and takes pretty good pictures.

I was seriously considering buying one before they came out but then my iPhone 5 died so I bought an S6 for a little more so I could have it right then rather than wait for an invite

Camera doesn't work properly, and it kind of lags. I returned mine after a day of using it and bought a G4 as a cheap alternative till I decide which of the newer phones I want to use.

Ah yes. You reminded me. The camera for photo is great but bad for video. It constantly tries to focus, and ruins everything with quick blur ins and blur outs. Bullshit camera. I don't know if there's a camera app that will help.

There's no known fix for the issue. I think there's a problem with the laser focus system because my lg g4 does the same thing but holds focus for longer than the one plus 2.

You tell us? You're the one who bought it...

got it yesterday and its a really nice phone for what you pay for. Signal seems to match my LG V10 which is good, screen not as clear but I really, really adore IPS panels and that's what the OP2 is equipped with. You really don't notice much outside of colors going from that small of a display to another due to the AMOLED. Camera is solid but not overly spectacular. Haven't messed with the fingerprint scanner though. But for $349.....yes, shes a keeper!.

Its a fast fucking phone....also barebones....so my battery atm is a fucking godsend thanks to Oxygen.

Only negative.....getting everything else to move their ass to USB-C so when I forget my charger I'm not boned lol

I was just about to make a thread asking about this phone vs the One plus X. My Xperia screen cracked and I'm due for an upgrade, and I'd rather go cheap.

Oxygen OS 2.2.1 is out, hopefully it fixes the lagging problem that 2.2.0 had after a few days of uptime.

I dunno if its just me, but ive noticed apps launch faster even when they're already have been running/are in multitasking view. There used to be a small delay in launching apps that were already open in the background, must have been an issue with the animation/framerate lagging that they fixed.

I'm thrilled with my OnePlus One. Didn't feel the need to upgrade; love the value of my current phone for the price.

Me too. My OPO has endured quite a bit and other then some nasty battery bugs (that don't exist anymore) everything runs smoothly. I'm planning on keeping it until it falls apart. After that I'll take a look at OP2 or the smaller OP.

Just got my OnePlus Two in the post. Updated it. All is going well apart from one potentially dealbreaking issue.

The speaker audio quality. (I'm updated to the latest firmware which is 2.2.1)

It's really hissy and tinny. And it's to the point where I can tell it's not supposed to be like that. I took all the steps to counter it as they suggested on the FAQ page.

Firstly, try disabling Maxx Audio Tuner.
If that doesn't work reboot your phone.
If it then still doesn't work, wipe cache and dalvik (you won't lose any data)
If all else fails, factory data reset and if even then it doesn't contact OnePlus support.

Done all of that, None of it worked. Well I say none of that, short of contacting support, which I will do if I can't find anything online that suggests it is a software or version issue. Ie. temporary. I guess I have to get to the bottom of the issue before the returns window closes. It's actually fine with headphones in, which leads me to think it's really not software based, and actually just plain faulty. There's no way it's supposed to sound like this, because I have my galaxy S2 right next to it, and when hangouts gets a message and they both go off, one sounds clear as a whistle, and the other like it's transmitting from a nuclear bunker.

Any help would be much appreciated. It's a fresh install, so there's only so much that could have gone wrong so far anyway. Just want to know if it's a common issue with 2.2.1 I guess.

Bought one too. Garbage. I have a friend who is sitting with a OnePlus 1 running on CyanogenMod which genuinely puts my OP2 to shame... Hugely frustrating.
This is the quality of the audio that's coming directly out of the speaker. Bear in mind this is a brand new and fully updated (2.2.1) phone.

I can't see many (or really any) other people having this issue, so thinking I may have to RMA it..
Yeah, RMA that... Wow.

This.

And if I wad going to switch back to the android platform (
I'm not..windows phone few =P
) I would have gone with the Nexus 6p as google is pretty great with its updates on that phone. And it's super affordable to buy outright when compared to other android competitors.

Heck I hear the new galaxy S7 is ridiculous..not to mention their active models have some of the best if not the best battery life's in the market period.

You should keep the V10, and return the Oneplus2, it's a shit phone. I had one and it was the worst cellphone experience I ever had, which is totally different from the Oneplus One, which I liked.
