Just Cause 3 15 minute gameplay

Are these games actually good or just quirky? I've never played them.

Just Cause 1 is trash.

Just Cause 2 is a revelation.

On the video, they made some seriously cool changes to the grappling just mechanically.

-Upside down grappling to the ceiling = awesome

-Running up and over a barrier after grappling = awesome

-Reeling in the grapple = awesome

I like the way that, when he grabs the guy by the bollocks with the grapnel and throws him across the street, having just pinned someone to a house, that the civilians just carry on their everyday activities.

Those people have SEEN SOME SHIT, man.

Barring the obnoxious commentary, everything looked fantastic. Seeing actual gameplay and the grappling changes is the real takeaway here. Can't wait for December.

This is the closest they'll get to giving him superpowers. Looks like a blast to play.

Seems like the parachute is redundant

Nah, the parachute is way more precise for destructive fly-bys. The wing suit is more for transportation and style.

This video has a beautiful shot of him gliding along the ground in the wingsuit at the beginning. Hype levels reaching fever pitch.

The way he animates as he flies along is really fantastic.

Plus it seems like you can't land on solid ground without taking damage in the wingsuit.

I was worried that it's releasing so soon but it already seems fairly polished and probably content complete. So hyped.

The enemies could be more interesting. Game reminds me of Infamous Second Son in a way - great traversal mechanics, but meaningless pack enemies.

If they fired slow-moving, dodgeable, dangerous projectiles it'd be really fun. This "see protag and constantly hit him with piss-weak bullets" thing is never fun.

Special edition of the demo. In JC2 you can't take so many bullets, collisions and explosions. Even easy mode probably would have had Rico die. Let alone the harder difficulties. Would have been torn to shreds a lot of times. I don't think they would have toned down the difficulty so much when doing the sequel. I can't remember who else besides helicopters came after certain heat (wanted) levels though. There was at least some diversity in what you had to look out for in the past.

For me it's not the bullets so much as the enemy formations and how they spread about.

Okay I know what they're going for, a playground for you to do whatever...but why would I even play through the story I could do that now just by exploring and not having to really care about it, just doing what I want. - that's what I did in JC2 and that's what I'm probably going to end up doing in JC3.

What I was hoping for was less-traditional enemy positions and groups in story sequences. Like sure they're in the tower and will come when it's under attack. But if you play this in story mode, some crazy shit happens that's different.

Like bring in trucks and trucks of enemies and vehicles. Have them whip out some mech suits or something. Unleash all the grapples.

Needs more saints row. Maybe they have some of that...

It's a damn fun game though, totally forgot how fun it can be. Installed some simple stuff to JC2 - first person flying, long and strong grapples, crazy civilians and some super rocket launcher (which you can fire while flying). So everything is chaotic and planes are constantly crashing (crazy civs mod) so I just go superman flying about (a bit hard to get used to and control) looking for planes to rescue just before they crash.

The landscape visuals with the sea, mountains, hills, ocean and various coloured skies with the night/day cycle - you get some gorgeous views. Like 9.5-10/10. Surprising for quite an old game.

Finally had enough time to watch this.

Just plain awesome parts.

This guy used to be a lot more unique. Once he started to get big, he just got really loud and usually the parts of his videos that are supposed to be funny are just the parts where he's laughing or screaming. Like I'm supposed to find it funny that he's making a loud noise.

Seems like you can perpetually fly around without ever touching the ground.

I feel like those moments would be more exhilarating if there was a real weight to your character and a sense of gravity to the physics.

It's a personal preference though and I realize most Just Cause fans aren't looking for realism.
