Might pay to have a blood test to check your iron/thyroid/whatever. Have a chat to your doctor about being tired, as your body might not be processing what it needs correctly.
Also a regular 7-9 hours of sleep (whatever works for you) but don't oversleep either.
Finally think about the quality of your sleep.
Late at night keep the lamps low and if you
must be on your computer (GAF lol) then use a screen dimmer like
F.lux. You'll get used to the orange, and it's a lot easier on the eyes.
Further than that try not to think about work or assignments or whatever. If you're up thinking about it, turn the lamp on and read a few chapters of a
novel. You'll be calmer and will be more relaxed for sleep too.
More light in your eyes (and on your skin!) wakes you up, so less before bed the better. You'll fall asleep and your body won't be full of "awake" chemicals.
Additionally, the more light in the morning the more naturally you wake.
Philips made an alarm clock which slowly brightens the room in the morning, but it's hideously expensive so you could do the same with a power plug timer and a lamp/radio or electric blinds/whatever you've got.
I tend to roll over, hit my alarm clock and halfway open my blinds to watch the street.
Try and get your room as dark as possible during sleep, and make sure your electronics are off, alarms excepted.
I also like to sleep with some airflow so I usually keep my window ajar even in winter.
Also avoid sugary foods, apples and bananas in the evening. Not good having an energy boost then. Likewise coffee and tea. I like some cocoa before bed, as it's warm delicious and relaxing too!
Experiment, you'll find what's right for you
edit: I see I've been well beaten, but hopefully some of this works for you anyway.
Also have a think about your mood. You might be depressed, which tends to make everything that much harder and more lethargic.
In which case have a chat to a counselor about some strategies to lift your mood :>
I find St Johns Wort is a useful supplement, though don't mix it with and other medication you may be taking.
edit2: A friend told me the body sleeps in cycles of about 90 minutes, and that it's easier to waken at the beginning or end of those cycles. I'm not sure if there's any basis behind this or if it's a placebo thing, but I've found it seems to be easier.
