Actually; if you really want to immerse yourself in Cyberpunk, you should check out books. Start with Neuromancer by William Gibson, get used to the prose for a bit, but in the end it's a reward that's more immersive and lively than any Deus Ex game. Actually, we don't have to compare - I played Deux Ex Human Revolution after reading Neuromancer and I loved it all the more because they were so similar.
Another author well versed in cyberpunk is Neal Stephenson. I only read Snow Crash, but check out a few of his titles if you're keen.
And as for Last Light; I'm willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt after saying something stupid but then apologizing for it. Gamergate is absolute shit, but we (the non-alt-right-folks) have to try and be nuanced where everybody's waving around pitchforks and calling out murder. If he didn't use the #gamergate tag in that tweed it wouldn'tve been so bad. It was a dumb thing, but let's wait until the game's out and what the narrative actually says.
