Is the title actually confirmed to be that though? I thought that was speculation and Kanye's still deciding.

I was wondering that too til all the reports started coming in about MIA on the album. Even the wikipedia page for Good Ass Job has been changed.

MIA announces collaboration for Kanye West album 'Dark Twisted Fantasy' MIA Tickets

Singer joins a host of artists expected on rapper's fifth studio effort


MIA has announced that she is working on Kanye West's forthcoming new album.

The singer wrote on her Twitter page that she has teamed up with the rapper for his fifth studio effort 'Dark Twisted Fantasy'.

"In the studio with Kanye, just speakin in Mark Twain quote," she tweeted cryptically.

The singer joins a host of stars who are expected to feature on the album including Beyonce, Bon Iver and Seal.

West's next single will be 'Runaway', which features an epic video recently shot in Prague.

Other tracks slated to appear on his new record include 'Power', 'See Me Now', 'Lost in the World' and 'Chain Heavy'.

'Dark Twisted Fantasy' is due out on November 16 in the US, with the UK release date expected to be November 15.

The wiki page was changed like the next day after the rumors first started coming out about the name change, I wouldn't believe that. MIA is ok I guess, been a few years since I've heard anything from her
 
MIA doesnt interest me one bit, I find her unique as fuck but the style doesn't do it for me. Too loud, too noisy too out there - I dont buy it. Hope She stays away from the Kanye album.

Man I'm SO looking forward to this... Been killing the previous Kanye albums for a year now.
 
Swizz and Kanye (to a lesser extent) should stick to producing. I'm still looking forward to the album for the beats and videos.

Madlib and Ye teaming up? Yes please :D

Kanye is a god-great rapper. Not the best of all time or anything but still great. Swizz has got nothing on him

i think kanye's gotten substantially better that he was before, but i still agree that his production is vastly better than his rapping.

What exactly did Swizz do for the Power remix (other than ruin the second half with his voice)? I thought Kanye produced it himself?
 
Swizz has actually made some quality beats here and there. I'm actually sorta warming up to the latest MIA LP as well (which is surprising considering the amount of lukewarm reviews it got).

EDIT: I do agree that dude needs to stay away from the mic though. That much is for sure.

Old Kanye was a poor man's Talib Kweli but he had something Talib didn't and that was the Rocafella machine. If Rawkus management didn't ruin the label, Kanye would've been on there. Remember, Jay didn't want to sign Kanye to be a rapper. Dame Dash did (along with Cam'Ron). I think he has a grip of ghostwriters tho.

I've seen so many of these 'single' covers, and the only thing that's on iTunes is Power. Where can I get the rest of the songs or at least a list with all the names? So far I only have Runaway.

i know not everyone like calabo's but im liking how kanye is doing them

not long verses from everyone some just a few bars like rick ross in monster and common on good friday but im guessing the next one will be the same with say probably doin a lil bit... or maybe rza haha he dont need a lot of bars, kthxbye :lol

When he goes away from his loud bombastic style he can make some pretty good shit but he's dead set on being blunt and loud 98% of the fucking time.
 
New shit's nice, really got into by the end of Jay (nice to know he can still bring it) and Pusha's verses... but Devil In A New Dress/Runaway/Monster are still my favs so far.

I have a friend who bumped I Can Transform Ya ... every ... single ... day. I like the production, don't get me wrong but it got annoying after awhile. This is actually the first I've heard of that track in WEEKS so now I can safely say that the beat is nice without plucking my eye-balls out. :lol

I've yet to check out the new G.O.O.D. Friday track -- surprised he did this so early. Will check it out now.

Edit: Swizz just had to start the track and end it.
