Uh no, she's been like that for years. (Also has been a Kanye fan for years, she used to namedrop him all the time before the whole VMA stuff) There's videos of her at concerts going nuts and getting all touchy with friends. Hell, it's part of the message behind the Shake it Off video. She knows she's not a good dancer but she's gonna dance anyway because she's being herself and having a blast, having more fun than the poor stone faced motionless people. During the performance you can see her skip back to her area because she was backstage. Then Kim K sees her run by and she goes back between Taylor and her friend to dance by her.
