KATAMARI DAMACY (PSP): New Japanese Commercial:

There's some gameplay vids up at Gametrailers, the same song keeps playing though, and it's from the second game. I hope there's new music for this one.
I'd still like to know how the 2d mini game is played.

This game rox. I've been playing it non-stop for three days. Awesome fun, love the music, scaling is awesome and minimal load times.

I saw the 2-disc OST for this at Kinokuniya in Seattle, what exactly is on it? All new music from the PSP game or is it a compilation of the two PS2 games?

edit: Nevermind, just saw the above post. It's $40, I'll probably go back and get it.

So I got Katamari PSP yesterday and...

It rocks, simply. Nothing has changed, apart from the controls and they work well after a a few minutes play.
It runs very well, looks practically the exact same as the ps2 versions and has a faster load time for the 'larger' areas.

the music IS lifted from the older OSTs, but i am only 2 levels in, so I expect some change in the later levels.

The sensation I get from playing it is EXACTLY the same as when I played the Japanese WarioWare Twist: WTF, but i love it!

exploring the menus is a game in itself, in problem solving that is :)
And as an added bonus, it states very clearly that it is 'FOR JAPAN ONLY'.

Well, apparently, mood-altering medication leads to street drugs. That’s what this very handsome, young doctor said on The Today Show.

Katamari PSP rocks. Controls take getting used to but I'm fine with it now. I think Dark pointed this out, but the image quality is really, really awesome. Every texture and poly is totally rock solid (unlike Burnout, ugh)

I just love going "HAHAH! I AM PLAYING KATAMARI ON THE TOILET! AT WORK!"
