NO! She shouldn't be held up to a different standard than us just because we choose to look at her pictures.

If someone thinks 'all blondes are airheads', they're already ignoring a wealth of intelligent blonde women. Why would one more make a difference?
*This is not meant to imply that politicians are inherently more intelligent than swimsuit models.

Pretty sure this stereotype is generally ignored sometime after like 3rd grade. Besides, if anyone actually buys into that stereotype I'm pretty sure Kate Upton couldn't change their mind if she tried not that it really matters.
So can Angela Merkel but only one of them looks good in a swimsuit.
I'd also wager she couldn't change perceptions if she died her hair black and became poet laureate. As I said, anyone that believes all blondes are dopey is already blind to the thousands upon thousands of intelligent blondes out there.

You know, I'm not a fan of blondes. Not just because their hair is fake 9 out of 10 times. I'm just more into dark haired girls or redheads especially. Blue eyes? Sure, you can't deny they're not beautiful, but I also usually go for dark eyed girls.
But there's something incredibly sexy about a blonde nerdy girl who defies the stereotypes. Give me a blonde ponytail, blue eyes, square rimmed glasses while she's reading Confederacy of Dunces and I'm like a melting candle next to her.

Yes, but my point wasn't based on a classic European metaphor. I'm saying that you feel you need to scrub away the dirty or fake parts of our society, but disappointingly the world doesn't stay clean and you need to scrub and scrub obsessively...
It's really funny that you assume she's an airhead, maybe from the way she bounces in her gifs or maybe you find she's lacking soul behind her smile. Does she need to be a Mensa member model to gain your respect or does a model lacking a 160 IQ automatically become an airhead? She comes off very normal and fun in her interviews, not a genius, but far from a moron. Does someone dancing or smiling or having fun outside of an environment you find entertaining automatically make them distasteful to you? She's rich, she's having fun, let her slide. She can worry about being a role model or mentor when the high of fame wears off.

I don't believe in stereotypes. I see everybody as an individual. But not everybody is like me.
What exactly is your point? Is she supposed to be an intelligent model? Are brunette models assumed to be smarter than her? If you're saying that she reinforces the "dumb blonde" stereotype, I think that says more about you than her. She just reinforces a model stereotype to me. She's all looks, not known for her public speaking.

The thing that puzzles me about those comments is that they usual contradict what they're saying. "Yeah she's got a great rack and a pretty face.. but I don't find her attractive" Like wtf? how do you list reasons as to why this person is attractive and then denounce her in the same breath.
