DETAILS FOR THE OFFICIAL KILLING FLOOR 2 VIDEO GAME SOUNDTRACK RELEASED!
Today, Tripwire Interactive and Solid State Records are pleased to announce that the original soundtrack for Tripwire Interactives upcoming video game Killing Floor 2 will be released on April 21st, 2015 at both digital and retail outlets. Killing Floor 2 is one of 2015s most anticipated new releases with its brutal mix of gore and action. Now with the most bone crushing soundtrack ever created for a video game, the mix of metal, rock, industrial and electronic music will definitely set the mood for fans as they get prepared to slay enemies in the upcoming, action-packed first person shooter!
This is a dream soundtrack for me to have so many amazing bands with songs that fit the game so well, said Tripwire Interactive President John Gibson, Only an independent game studio would put together such a brutal game soundtrack, and its great to be able to partner with the independent label Solid State Records to release it.

The Killing Floor 2 original soundtrack features a unique mix of original compositions, licensed rock and metal tracks that offer the perfect backdrop for slaying waves of Zeds. The original songs feature the return of Killing Floor fan favorite artist, zYnthetic beating out his unique mix of electronic, industrial, metal, and rock, alongside incredible one-of-a-kind collaborations between members of Demon Hunter and Living Sacrifice, as well as original songs by Rocky Gray of Evanescence and Living Sacrifice fame. Add to that killer licensed songs by metal and rock acts Demon Hunter, Impending Doom, Living Sacrifice and Fit for a King, and everyone will be well equipped with a soundtrack to face the deadly Zed hordes!
Tripwire has featured several of these artists already in their trailers including Your War from contributing soundtrack artist Living Sacrifice in their latest Development Diary for the game. Fans can preview that song and the other featured songs on Spotify at the below links:

In KILLING FLOOR 2, players descend into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotechs failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union Just one month after the events in the original KILLING FLOOR, the specimen clones are everywhere and civilization is in disarray; communications have failed, governments have collapsed, and military forces have been systematically eradicated. The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation too well and lucky survivors have gone into hiding.
Not all have given up hope though... A group of civilians and mercenaries have banded together to combat the outbreak and established privately funded operation bases across Europe. Upon tracking specimen clone outbreaks, players will descend into zed-laden hot zones and exterminate them.
KILLING FLOOR 2is developed and published by Tripwire Interactive for the PC, SteamOS and PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and is slated for release in 2015. This title has not yet been rated by the ESRB but Tripwire Interactive anticipates a rating of M for Mature.
