Killzone 3 PS Move / Sharpshooter vidoc

Anyone have recommendations on lighting for 3d/Move? 3d is so much better in the dark, but Move seems to need lots of light. I guess just try to have all of the light behind where I sit.
Not at all. I've used Move in a dark room and it works completely fine.

Kotaku's complaints weren't about the device (they were positive about it) but about the size of the bounding box. All they'd have to do is go to options and reduce it to the minimum.

Screw you sony.

Wearing 3D glasses with a glowing ball and a fake gun with pump action. Little respect my wife had for me will be all but gone.

:lol

do it naked, drawing her attention elsewhere from such devices will keep you respectable, maybe you'll have to stop playing, but with any luck there still be balls and pump action !

This game will probably sell me on the Move, if nothing else does first, and I didn't even like Killzone 2 much. But I've been dying for good pointer/motion FPS action and the Wii has, of course, severely under-delivered.

Well that was obviously a joke, I'm still waiting for a confirmation of the "Time to Die!" line making a comeback before commiting to buy...

I think you'll be buying the game...

The sharpshooter looks cool, but IDK, I'm still not sold on the whole motion control thing. There's nothing there that makes me WANT to go purchase this because it's so much better than a standard controller, and until that happens, I just don't feel like I'll ever jump on the Move bandwagon. Hell, even when I had a Wii, most of my favorite games didn't even use the pointer, or motion controls as a big part of the game. I'm much more interested in the tech behind these game engines improving, not the controllers.

Lame US toy colors :(

What? We have a stereotyped set of colors for our toys?

I'm pretty sure other countries put out toys that are that color too. I'm not saying the colors look good, they look like a "toy," but this game isn't even made in the US.

/ot

This thing looks awesome though! Pumped to try it out!

Motion blur is there though a bit toned down. No embargo anymore :D

- huge graphical upgrade in character models, weapons also look and sound better.
- very, very few framerate drops but all in all very smooth
- bit more aliasing, mlaa seems a bit selective (some objects look clean, others jaggied)
- awesome melee kills (stabbing helghast in the eye never gets old).

YESSSSSS

Game of the Forever!
I hope it's my dream of Rico going down in a blaze of glory while screaming, "TIME TO DIE!" I always thought that would be the best way to appease a lot of us that hated Rico or people that wanted that line in.

EDIT: Fuck yeah, you can pause cutscenes!

Realistically colored guns are not allowed in the US, but there are other countries that allow it. The Japanese Time Crisis gun is black.

I really like what they're doing with the color in this one. It seemed like in KZ2 there were points where they felt forced to put more color into the game and it came off as being overdone, particularly at the beginning of the Cruiser mission. KZ3 has more color variation but a bit more muted, realistic tones that fit in really well with the Killzone aesthetic and looks quite pleasing. It was probably the artistic goal the whole time so it came out really well as opposed to trying to adjust it to please complainers.
