Forget an RPG.
I want an action adventure game. A hack and slash one.

Where is the evidence that either Killzone sold millions?
Everything KZ does is done better by other developers. Hence why they're not a A tier developer. To count Guerilla among the biggest FPS developers in the world is lunacy. A lot of the love for them comes from people who have a great affection for Sonys WWS. Outside of this, they're unknown.
Still a long way off? I thought they had been working on it for years now.
I'm not sure getting a FPS specialist to make an RPG out of nowhere will end well.

Killzone 2 is the best shooter of the gen, it was truly something unique before they went after the CoD crowd.

Lots of trolls in this thread that think reality is shaped around their opinions.
It's like he doesn't use words correctly.
His opinion > facts. I guess the only thing that can be done is to avoid feeding the troll.I mean for fuck's sake, the Forza titles sell multi-millions, and Turn 10 is a cult developer now? I can understand there's bigger kids on the block, but the exaggeration is just nonsensical.
I always thought they have been working on it for a while now. Huh...
I wonder who will make the KZ games from now on. Does GG has another team besides of KZ team? (I really hope GG Cambridge stays a handheld dev)
Killzone 2 alone has past a million in the first month it released over four years ago
It's not that hard to extrapolate with Killzone 1 and 3 that the series well into the millions.
And the rest of your post is just personal opinion that doesn't hold any weight in the grand scheme of things. I could go on and on about Ubisoft and Team Meat producing better and more innovative platformers than Nintendo has with nsmb series and the only reason people play them is because of great affection and nostalgia to Nintendo's history. Or talk on how Forza is a low tier franchise because GT sells much more.
Killzone 3 sold signifantly less in its first month. 288k to be exact. To me that makes the franchise very niche. It's obvious Guerilla struggled to get people's interest.
As I said, hopefully any new IP can be less generic and offer something unique.
Selling almost 300k copies in a debut month is nowhere near a niche franchise.

They have two teams at the main studio.
I can't see why they can't keep both I.Ps.... why are some people saying how they'll drop the KZ series
KZ SF in my guess will be a trilogy
I remembered correctly then. They have been working on this before surely. Maybe it's just the actual development that's started now. They have two teams at the main studio.

Sales for the game dropped off a cliff after the first month. It's obvious they've had trouble generating interest in the franchise.
Sales in the UK were very low as well.
Edit. Anyway, I don't want to derail the thread any further.
CoD sold better than everything and it fucking sucks...........It is a niche IP.
Even L4D sold better then either KZ game.
Exactly, which is why it's a terrible game.

You must have not read the part where he says something totally different than Killzone. Meaning not a FPS.
I bet its a platformer... with guns.
Please don't be a fps, please don't be a fps. They said they want to branch out to other genres, so that's a good sign.
Killzone Kart Racing yo.
At least 2015 then?
I think so. They'll probably announce the game E3 2015 then release at Q4.

I think we'll see it before then. Maybe Gamescom 2014 or the VGAs next year.
Knack? If they want to be REALLY different, would like to see a 3D platform game from them. Something bright and cheerful, and able to provide major differentiation to the portfolio of blow everything up games that have become so common.

Fuck new IP Guerilla. You know what has to be done here:
G-Police reboot.
Dishonered is such a boring game. Not an FPS, or if so a RPG-FPS a la Dishonored. Stoked to say the lease, Guerrilla makes quality content IMO.
In your opinion.
Man, you sure do miss the point a lot.
