To me the reason the original is so entertaining is because of Arny, I can't imagine the film being any good to watch with someone else who doesn't have the same awesome but cheesy presence that Arny has in most of his films, partly the same reason his films like True Lies are so awesome.

After Jurassic World success everything is going to be remade as it's safer since you can sort of guarantee that a percentage of people that remember that product will watch it. Makes business sense, no need for anyone to get angry about this. Just don't watch it or talk about it - you voicing your anger is promoting the product.
