I didn't know there were more episodes. The last one they aired seemed like the perfect way to end the series.

edit: and apparently that's because it was supposed to be the finale and was the last episode produced. gogo wikipedia.

To all king of the hill fans, I know there are a lot on here, right? :D
but just checked my directv guide and it seems that Fox is finally gonna air the 4 episodes that were not shown during the end of the series. It's gonna be on at 12:30 am every morning this week.
New episodes of king of the hill :D never thought i'd say that again :lol

One of the episodes is when Dale finally figures out that John Redcorn is Josephs father, that will be an amazing episode.

WTF, that sounds terrible. :(

King of the Hill is probably in my top five most favorite shows of all time, but I'm glad it ended when it did...the last two seasons definitely had more than a few clunkers. Still, the fact that it took so long for that to happen speaks volumes about the show's quality.

EDIT: in fact, in retrospect, I wouldn't have minded if the series ended when it was originally supposed to, which I believe was two seasons before it actually did.

This doesn't sit to well with me. I always liked the idea that Dale knew but didn't care.

There was the episode where he realized that he wasn't Joseph's father. Mostly because he decided that a space alien had impregnated Nancy. It'll be interesting to see how they handle it.

Of course, now that I've typed that out, I see what you were saying.

Also, at the end of that episode, Dale concludes that although aliens did impregnate Nancy, they used his genetic material, making him Joseph's biological father.

I can't even imagine Dale's reaction to learning the truth...

I guess it's fitting for Fox to give these final episodes such a crappy send-off. I will say it's awesome to watch these little unexpected bonuses before the wife and I crash for the night. Thanks to this bastard title of a thread we were able to catch it right as it started.

Netflix has all the seasons available on instant streaming, even the ones that aren't available on DVD (season 7 and onwards). I don't know if these unaired episodes are there though.

They do not have the final season, and nearly every season has 1 or 2 episodes that are not available for streaming.

I was excited for a minute at least we have closure.

The final episode aired on FOX during the normal time was the series finale. These four episodes are not meant to finish the series.

OMG OP!!!!!

Anyway I checked the "what's on TV" on Directv.com and it says Star Trek is on at 12:30 is it just not updated or what?

I never got the impression that he didn't care, just that he was in terrible denial...

I flipped through the guide on Directv for my local Fox channel and saw "King of..." so I selected it to autoview, then saw the whole title:

"The King of Queens"

FUUUUUUUU

Thread title is terribly misleading.

Friend got a virus of some sort trying to "download the new King of the Hill".

I :lol d because:
1 - King of the Hill ended a while ago
2 - :lol virus from shitty torrents

Then he insists that there are 4 new episodes. So I check.

HOLY SHIT YES PLZ.
And FUUUUUUUUUUCK I missed the first one!!

Saw the episode. Actually thought it was very funny. Not a bad episode at all.

Also I was always kind of under the impression that Dale knew Joseph was Redcorn's kid, but didn't really give a shit, or had sort of quietly come to grips with it.

So when does this come on exactly 1:00 AM?

and fuck the thread title, got my hopes up.

MOTHER EFFER. So the new episodes will be on the Fox channel at 12:30am or on Adult Swim?

Check your local listings. One of my FOX affiliates is airing them at 11pm, and the other at 4:30 am. (In place of the normal syndicated re-runs that air there.)

Also, they will be airing on Adult Swim in the 10:30/2:30 Eastern Time slot in the week of May 17th.

If this is the new episode, fucking standard definition.
Ugh yeah, affiliate is airing it 4:3 like they do the standard reruns so there's characters talking who aren't in the frame.

Hopefully Adult Swim will air them properly in a couple weeks.
Who am I kidding, FOX probably didn't send out a proper version.

Principal Moss cooking eggs with a bunsen burner. :lol

Wait, so they did air the real finale already?

Did anything good happen? I always assumed that the real wrap up happened in these "lost" episodes.
