Looks like both. I still am wondering why they are ditching the artbook case. They did it for 1.5, they did it for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, didn't they even do it for hitman hd collection? Just odd.
Well, one of their more recent releases, FF14 on PS4, had the CE put up on Amazon.

However the PC CE of A Real Reborn was Square-Enix Store exclusive, as was Drakengard III and the upcoming Theatrhythm: Curtain Call. It wouldn't surprise me if the same goes for KH 2.5.

Its a preorder bonus, its free. If you really don't want it, buy it for the same price a different day and don't get the pin. If anything you can sell it later on, these pins are pretty collectible to some people.
While you and I may not care about pins there are many that love these Disney pins, especially rare ones. One trip to Disneyland or World and you can see that those pins are DAMN popular with Disney fans.

However, I do agree with you. It is a shame though since KH 1.5 went on sale pretty quick after release. I do not see a reason to not wait until 2.5 does the same. They are not giving any motivation to buy it day one.

This pin won't be worth 2 grand but they have a tendency to be minted once and then never again. So if you're a disney pin fanatic this is just another one for the collection.

Limited Edition? That's just a pre-order exclusive pin, essentially. How the hell can they get away with calling that a Limited Edition?
First prints are called LEs nowadays.
Damn that sucks that we aren't getting any of that. I skipped out on 1.5 and would love to have picked up a set with both 1.5 and 2.5.
I'm still keeping the hope alive we see this in the west.

I would like that pin for my Disney pin board, but I really don't want to buy the game at full price.
I honestly won't be surprised if there's a "KH Ultimate Series Encyclopedia Collection" released next year for PS4 which includes a remaster of Dream Drop Distance as well.

KH2 Final Mix by far. I would rank the FM versions compared to western versions FM2>>>>FM1>>FMBBS.
Both western BBS and KH1 had bunch of the FM content already implemented that the original Japanese versions didn't get. KH2 however was exactly the same for jpn and western release and of COURSE they decide that it must be the game to have most content implemented for FM release.

KH2's Final Mix extras elevate KH2 from a somewhat disappointing sequel to one of the best games in the series.
- About 7 new bosses (Two of which are probably the single best bosses in the series)
- New dungeon
- New difficulty that makes the game difficult without being cheap
- New scenes
- New Drive Form
- New Christmas Town Costumes
- New sidequests
And a few other things I'm forgetting.
Yeah, seriously. The only other game I can think of that pulled off an even bigger middle finger as far as JP exclusive content is concerned is Vesperia PS3.

Not to forget how they bundled fuckin Re:CoM with that shit. I mean, how can you NOT release it in the west? It's insanity. Well at least the US got Re:CoM years later I guess without KH2FM but EU got none of that shit before the HD collections.
Yeah I've been banking on this as well (though PS4 & Xbone One). If not next year, maybe a few months before or alongside KH3's eventual release. Especially since these ports are currently Sony exclusives and KH3 is multiplat.

These are the only two official Disney Parks pins as far as I know. There were a few Hot Topic ones. The one in the second pic is pretty rare--only 500 were made. Last auction I saw back in August '13 sold for a little over $100. I think for most Disney fans, this LE pin is a pretty cool freebie and the only parks one that has Sora in it.
Agreed. KH2FM is an unbelievable re-release and I was bitter for so many years that SE didn't release it here. Here we are seven fucking years later.
Cavern of Remembrance alone is the best area of any KH game.

As a person who lives in NA and never played these games. I would pay full price for the both in a collectors edition than two separate ones. I mean do they not want my money!?
