I'm importing from amazon. It's pretty reasonable in terms of shipping costs. Preorder/pay for it now, choose standard shipping and you'll get it within a few weeks of release.
you can import from amazon.com to europe

wut ?

Waaait a minute.

- CanÂ’t die in the game
- Earn a medal at the end of each stage
- This is based on how many collectibles youÂ’ve obtained
- Dying reduces the amount of beads you have

This sounds exactly like:

Just replace 'beads' with 'coins'.

This is really the only trailer I've ever watched where I have an uncontrollable smile on my face from beginning to end. I'm absolutely blown away by this game.

Yep. As an example:

All ordered and delivered from Amazon.com to here in the UK. Shipping was pretty cheap too. I also pre-ordered Smash Bros Brawl a couple of years ago from them, and got it two weeks after the USA release. Had it months before my mates did over here. If the 3DS UK date is months after the USA one, I shall be preordering and importing from amazon.

I've also ordered stuff from Amazon France (takes literally two days to arrive here, insane speeds from them) such as Prison Break on blu ray, which only got released in France. And what's great is that for both .com and .fr, I was able to use my amazon.co.uk account for the adress and payment.

That sucks. It definitely works over here in the UK - I just added SMG2 to my basket and proceeded to checkout, with it accepting my UK address. So it's definitely working for me, as it has been up to now.

Hang on I'll see where they ship to.

edit - here we go:

Restrictions

The following items can be shipped to almost all destinations outside the U.S.:

* books
* DVDs
* music
* VHS videos

Additionally, some consumer electronics, health and personal care, home and garden, jewelry, pet supplies, shoes, software, sporting goods, tools, video games, and watches can be shipped to the following countries:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom
If your country isn't on that list, you're out of luck unfortunately.

edit - apparently I can even order from amazon japan, holy shit I didn't know that :lol

Heh, just tried Epic Yarn. Doesn't work for me either, damnit. Bizarre. It worked for Dexter (preordered the Season 4 Bundle) and with Smash Bros. Maybe Kirby is a one off for some reason.

Oh well.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is #1 on Amazon right now :D

Yes, in the past x hours, more people have preordered Kirby then Donkey Kong, the Pokemon Wii game, Wii Party, and is also doing better then Halo Reach.

Marvelous looking game. Can't wait to pick this up next month.

It was basically this and LBP2 duking it out for my most anticipated release for the rest of this year, but now it's all this.

Sometimes it depends on the game, or so it seems.

Don't ask me why though, I can only say that a couple of months ago I tried to buy Demon's Souls but the checkout failed (can't ship this product etc. etc.), on the other hand no problem for Super Mario Galaxy 2, which shipped flawlessly to Italy.

Hope it works for Kirby, too. :D

Same here, I really liked the music in Shake It!
I agree, Shake It has awesome music, especially the Air Castle and Winter stages.

The short snippet of the snow level in Kirby was very similar to Shake It! :D

Edit: if it is the same composer, I hope there's a track like THIS in the game. So beautiful :D

Does anyone know how progression works in this game? I'm assuming it works like in Shake It, where new worlds are only opened once you've gathered enough gems to progress, and that was my least favorite part of that game. I'd rather enjoy the levels at my own pace and not have to worry about scouring every inch so I'll have enough points to progress.

Where's the epic thread full of yarn? I'd make one but I'm super swamped with college right now.

I'd make one, but I'm sure someone much better equipped is working on it.
