I don't even like the Spurs and I know they still gonna bust the West ass come playoff time. They are a different animal come April when it all starts to count. I sure as hell don't want to see their boring ass fundamental basketball in the finals but from what I've seen the last 2 years of them destroying Golden State I can't see it going any other way. You honestly think their gonna be running and gunning come playoff time let alone other teams allow that? Please, these guys are gonna get strapped up come late April lol.

Aren't GS top 3 in points in the paint and tops in defense as well? Doesn't sound like typical run and gun Nellie-style ball to me.

If anything, it'll come more down to health than anything else.

What was his percentage in this quarter?
EDIT: 100% on all his 3s? He did some layups... what was his overall shot percentage?

Ball Hogs Win....

You can only be called a ball hog if you're missing shots. He can plan on a career of being fed the ball and having 3 people marking him if he keeps this performance up. It already seemed like he was good at 3s but this is some next level shit right here.

100% he didn't miss anything.

My god... he's a fucking NewType or some shit!

Yes. Third in points in the paint, first in field goal percentage and first in opponent field goal percentage.

I can't wait for the Warriors to go off in the playoffs and prove the doubters wrong.

#comeouttoplay
I'll be happy to be proven wrong, I love this team and oakland has the best fans in the league.

13-13 from the field - tied the NBA record for field goals made in a quarter.
9-9 from three - new NBA record for threes made in a quarter.
Only 2 points from the line.

As I said, B-A-N-A-N-A-S, if that shit happen against me in a videogame, I rage quit so fucking fast.

Team ain't coached by Mark Jackson anymore.
People need to quit trying to throw jackson under the bus. Even Kerr admits that they probably would have had a similar record under Mark. People need to give credit where its due, the players have all elevated there games this year.

He wouldn't have had to shoot from the line (and tied the record for most threes in a game) if they counted the three he fired off & made right after that foul was called. Just an insane 3Q performance.

The FIBA games seemed to have brought out the best in a lot of young players.

Nuts.

Anyway to watch the whole quarter? Guessing probably not?
If you have league pass you can.
The NBA is pretty liberal with youtube videos (that's so smart by the way, other sports should follow suit, it's great for the fans and great for the league) but I doubt you'll see a full quarter up there.

Nice! I don't follow basketball but I try to hear when something big is going on. What happened to the Justin Lin guy? Is he still a big deal? I heard somebody saying that all the ruckus he was making a year ago was nulled by poor defense or something?

What is the context behind this? What is the guy doing? It looks like he is tying their shoes or something. Do players have people hired to do that?

Probably getting stretched.

What else is Kerr supposed to say when that topic comes up?

Was cool to see the crowd get more and more amped up each time he drained one.

But WTF at Sacramento towards the end? They just gave up on the game.

The Timberwolves were trying to fleece teams and the Cavs were the only ones dumb enough to fall for it. Klay, some other guys, and picks would have been a terrible robbery for Love.

2k on HOF level in MyCareer does this every game though.

It will be beat this year. It probably hasn't been on anyone's mind to try.

Who in the league besides Korver/Curry/Durant could hit 9 3s in a quarter, and who besides Curry/Durant would get the green light to do so?

I don't think you realize how insane this shooting display was. It would take most guys 20 to 30 shots and a ton of FTs (which means getting hacked) to score 37 period. Harden is leading the league in scoring and he barely scores 30 every other game.

I think Kerr is being humble. Defensively, yeah, I think you could make the case that the Warriors would be performing at around the same level under Jackson this year. Offensively? That's where Kerr has really made his stamp. Kerr's offensive system is what has elevated this team and I think it is going to make them a much more dangerous team come playoff time then years past.

No it won't.

You have no idea how hard that 37 in a quarter is.

Look at the 5 players who managed 30+ all time:

Year Player Pts. Qtr.
2015 Klay Thompson, GS 37 3rd
2008 Carmelo Anthony, DEN 33 3rd
1978 George Gervin, SA 33 2nd*
1978 David Thompson, DEN 32 1st*
1962 Wilt Chamberlain, PHI 31 4th

Mark Jackson is fucking garbage. This is a guy who admitted that he didn't watch film of Chris Paul and the Clippers DURING THE PLAYOFFS last season because he doesn't want to stay up, needs his beauty sleep. He's also a guy who filmed himself preaching in his Warriors office, where he said "I'm a part time coach, and full time preacher." this is also the coach of a team where our best players played 38+ minutes every night. I can't remember the last game steph Klay dray and Bogut have played over 34 minutes (they usually play under 30).

We have now won 11 straight home games by 10+ points, an NBA record. Last night was a game we lose if Mark was still our coach. He lost so many winnable home games because he would do short practices, sometimes even cancelling them altogether. He's garbage. His offense was complete isoball

Klay blacked out man, no one on their sane mind can go 13-13, and 9-9 from 3. And one assist... Where 35 happened in 8 minutes.

The man was in the zone, nothing more nothing less, flat out fantastic, and I doubt we'll see this record beaten.

Congrats Klay!
