Knack LIVE Demo ON NOW

Good job, good effort GT

Did GT mistake him as Cevat Yerli ?

played the demo today. it's more of a brawler in the style of wonderful 101. the stuff they had us play was light on platforming to say the least. i would never consider it in the same genre as a ratchet & clank, sonic, mario, rayman, or what have you. that's just from what i played though.

graphically, it's neat looking. i recognize there are some lighters/shaders doing things that probably can't be done on the ps3. i'm not a tech guy, but the short of it is it looked better than most ps3 games.

the actual game is pretty dull. go into an area. fight enemies until the next part of the level opens up. rinse and repeat. i was kinda hoping for more, but there really wasn't any. you can upgrade skills, but the core level design was the same across four areas i played. it's really linear and simplistic. maybe the full game is better but if they were trying to show their best stuff today, then it's pretty worrying.
Thanks for the impressions. I can't say I wasn't expecting this based on what they showed, but I was hoping to be wrong. Now to stalk your history for more E3 impressions.

The level design looks really boring, that's a shame.

Hopefully there's a bit more to it than that but judging from the E3 demo it looks disappointing.

Looks interesting but also a bit dull. I'm going to buy two PS4 games at launch. Watch Dogs is going to be one of them and this could be the second.

Wow this game looks weak. I expected more from Cerny. It's all just going down a linear path punching a bunch of enemies. No platforming whatsoever and the combat itself looks too simple and boring.

I think it should be fun, there was a bit of variety in those short clips, sliding down ice areas and looks like there is a bit of challenge too. Died in two hits

Might be a bit simple.

Why do the enemies and destroyed bits disappear so fast? :(

They should stay around and be interactable. Use some of that PS4 power, Mr. Lead Architect!

I hope they play more with the size aspect, they could do some katamari type stuff with that, going back through a level with you sized up.
The disappointing thing right now is that environments appear very static and non-interactive, with only a very limited number of destructible objects. So it doesn't look like they'll be capitalizing on the size aspect very well.
