Latest word is that we can expect it sometime in August-September but it still has no definitive release window.

Shame too because there's a nice stretch between The Gallows on July 10th and Sinister II on August 21st where a Green Inferno could really make a splash at the box office and do halfway decent as counter-programming.

September and October are predictably a logjam with wide-release horror fare.

How the fuck does Eli Roth keep getting financing to make movies? The man has never made a good movie. It's completely baffling.

If you can make movies for cheap enough (and cheap enough seems to be about $10 million dollars or less), someone in Hollywood will take a chance on it breaking out. And he's actually had that happen on more than one occasion.

Not sure if anyone has seen it yet, but it was garbage.

Keanu isn't even trying, he looks checked out for most of the movie and his performance is perhaps the most hilarious I've ever seen.

The two girls who harass him are annoying and the story is a joke of all kinds of proportions. Their motivations aren't fully explored, only hinted at, but even those can't be taken at face value due to how schizophrenic the girls act.

It's a mess, a complete mess and I really do wonder if Keanu was only in this due to a studio contract as his performance her compared to John Wick is night and day x 1m.

Cabin Fever was one of only two movies I've ever walked out of in the theater. The other was League of Extraordinary Gentleman.

That is kind of weird.. most people, even those not into horror generally really like the movie.

Eli Roth hasn't made anything relevant since Cabin Fever, and even that was only relevant to hardcore genre fans.
