Kohan: Ahriman's Gift is now in downloadable form... finally

Well, I generally dislike goons unless I have to absolutely use them. I've found 2 Infs early on far better on the whole because by the time I get the resources to support either, I don't have much of a company limit problem. Other reason is that you can get supported infs (Cle/Zeal) with a two slot where you can't going for dragoons.

Also, even the best Kohan supported Dragoons for Nats (Naava) lose to Kohan-supported Infs, particularly badly if it's Archer or Mage Kohan as far as I recall.

I meant more strictly your first troops out and comparing roughly equal resources and gold. So in our case goon with kohan vs 2 full inf with 1 kohan. With a goon build you settle once with a fully healed company at around 5:00. With an infantry build you settle twice with 2 companies ready at around 6:00. As for comp limit my only point is that sometimes you have to get units out right away so having the extra slot could be useful.

That is correct, the goon will lose to 2 full kohan supported inf. But here's something fun to try in the editor. Put 2 full inf with 1 kohan vs goon with Naava. Have kohan inf instant engage vs goon and count 4 seconds before attacking with the other company.

I haven't tried with the plain inf attacking first with the kohan supported inf going in last. I'd imagine you'd get better results that way.

Have there been any games at all lately? At the rate it's going, I may have to join pub games just to play.

I think a lot of it is gaf's wonky schedule. I personally have a rotating schedule so games starting at 2am est only work for so long.

Both evilore and I reverted to sleeping during the night this week.

I want to see if it's possible to get some games going tonight and in order to help facilitate that I'm asking that those interested post their kohan playtime window. It will give us a good idea when times overlap and the best time for some epic 4v4 action.

My ideal window is 6pm-11pm est Although if the gaming is good I'd probably go longer.

My ideal window starts at 11pm. Ouch.

May need a pvt msg on GAF though to slap me awake though.

6-11pm est is a bad window for me for at least a couple days :-(.
Well state your ideal window of time. It may well work out so that I won't even get to play due to gaf's schedule. No reason to go entirely by mine.

9 - 2am est is ideal.

6 is a bit early for me since I'm on the west coast, but im not sure on schedule yet so 6 might be fine.

KOHAN!!!! Don't allow this epic game to die fellas. Call your congressman, blackmail the president, and after that load up kohan! :lol

I'd generally play kohan over LoL. I don't know why everyone else is being a whorebag.

I've been fighting the good fight to contineu Kohan for awhile. I played a 2 hour game on the plane.

MILE HIGH HAN CLUB.

Hey guys just a quick heads up,

I've been playing RUSE (PS3 version) and it has a VERY Kohanish feel to it. I highly recommend giving the game a rent at the very least. Heard the demo blows but the full game is pretty fun.

RUSE doesn't really bear any resemblance to Kohan whatsoever. Very odd comparison.
