Because it was Summer of Arcade or some other XBLA promotion at that time, and Scott Pilgrim wasn't planned to be part of it.

One of the few times I wished there was a Wiiware release though. Would be easy to do 6-player local considering the extra GCN controllers I still have. I don't have a PS3 yet, and when I do get one, how practical is it to have six controllers? Need more PS3 friends...

It's not a money issue, more of a time issue. As I've gotten older I have less time to play games. I buy a ton of games for my PS3 and I'll more than likely never play them all. A 360 would just make the backlog even worse. :lol

Yeah a friend on Live was telling me about this while we were playing TMNT 89. Drop in sounds good.

Hopefully netcode is more forgiving than TMNT though because it was chugging when we were playing it, due to distance.

Update: Konami has confirmed to IGN that X-Men Arcade will be available through PlayStation Network on Dec. 14, a day before the Xbox Live Arcade version.

Pricing for the game is 800 Microsoft Points and $9.99.

Hmm may get it for PS3 then. Although I have 1000-odd MS points and about £3 in my PSN wallet so buying it on XBLA would save me having to buy more PSN credit. Either way, I'll be playing this on some format next week!

don't recover your profile on his machine, just move your profile onto the thumb drive along with the game. Then sign in from the USB stick and you should be able to play with no issues (assuming he has internet).
