July 31st looks just like a tentative date. SCEE's recent release list said June 23rd. There was another thread about it.

April it's MLB/Oblivion depending on where you live and then there's network titles like Calling All Cars and such. June is an awesome month for PAL users. SingStar, The Darkness, L.A.I.R, Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

For a few lucky of us there will be the Home Beta in April.

If any 1st party will slip, my money would be on Killzone. With regard to Sonys Japanese devs, what good games have come out of there apart from SotC and ICO? I'm not trying to bash them, just wanting to know what games they have produced because I can't think of anything other than those two.

If any 1st party is going to "slip" and/or hit major delays, it would be Gran Turismo, not a doubt in my mind... Prologue would slip into next year, and GT5 would probably hit fall of '08... Sometimes KY and Polyphony are too much of perfectionists...

Past games that were pretty good: Parappa series, Vib ribbon series, Omega Boost, Wild Arms series, Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, Jumping Flash, Alundra.

But for whatever reason they didn't make sequals to some of those titles. Hopefully they bring back some of them

Killzone needs to come out March 2008. Why the hell would they want to smash soooo many 1st party games together this Fall/Winter along with GTA IV and MGS4?

Nah, they are wholly owned by Sony. Along with Incognito, Naughty Dog, Guerilla, Zipper, and a few others.

Usually, 2nd party is like Insomniac or Factor-5: independently owned, but exclusivity agreements with a 1st party.
