When Trump holds up that kid like he would hold a cat covered in shit- That's the funniest thing I have ever seen. It's not even Trump. Listen to that kid. Hahahhaha

That stupid fence is just another gem of the Bush administration. America is better off using that money to build/repair things that are actually useful.

I think I'll be okay if John Oliver spends every three episodes tearing down each and every one of Trump's bullshit over the past year.

"Maybe a rope."

Gods, that slimey douche welding that fence with the eagle helmet... Are you fucking kidding me?

If I saw this scene being played out in the Simpsons (or any other comedy/satirical TV show/movie) years ago, I'd have laughed at how absurd and unrealistic it would be.

When real life goes beyond satire...

Been watching this show for the last few days, and I'm torn between being amused, and very, very depressed. Like watching a clown car get in a traffic accident

Since it will probably take a while to appear on brazilian hbo .... did he sair anything about the panama papers ?

The Panama papers that we heard about today? It's not like he records his shows on Sunday. And even if he did, he likes to prepare, research, let his team write jokes, etc. I haven't watched tonight's episode yet but I would be extremely surprised if he mentioned it.

Other than the slightly amusing interview at the end this episode didn't do much for me. First real dud in a while.

Hard to make that topic remotely interesting, I guess.

Makes sense .. Didn't notice the news broke out today.

Topic was interesting though not as good as many before.

What I did find hilarious was him buying premium tickets and asking if people go there to be dressed as sloppy as possible if they are gonna use them. :P

I liked it, not every topic he covers needs to be hilarious or earth-shattering.

I think it helps add to the comedic value if he seems to outright loath or despise the topic because it's just morally wrong or a legal grey area. Topics like Senate fundraising seem more like sad things he wants to bring to light + Yankee tickets than something that is downright horrible.
Still a good episode.
