i understand that. The first thing Jay did was to basically fragment the show by fucking Letterman out of TTS and having Letterman leave and start his own show on another network. All these years of the lamest and safest jokes further ruined it. This is basically the end of the TTS as a franchise as far as i see it now. It is tarnished. Even when/if Leno ever goes (i guess when he passes will be his last show) i doubt anyone will be able to step up or willing to for that matter seeing how NBC took the guy they have been grooming to take over TTS for the next 20 years and threw him under the bus for a complete shithead.

So Leno will be back and he'll get his old diaper wearing geriatrics to watch...

...but whatever legacy he might have had has been destroyed. He will be known forever as a two faced liar who ruined the integrity of one of America's beloved institutions.
 
I really hope Comcast shitcans Zucker once they fully take control of NBC. It's not like Zucker have a strong argument to keep his job with the way NBC been flopping lately.

Wether the current rumors are true , I don't even care anymore, NBC doesn't deserve conan and I actually hope leno does get his stupid show back so that he can tank so hard in the ratings that comcast gets rid of him for good after whatever new deal he signed is finished. Fire Zucker while they're at it. Then , if conan still doesn't have something new going on at that point they give him a new job. Let him control his lead-ins and manage the timeslot around his show.

If Dave does decide to let Conan have The Late Show in a few years, Comedy Central might be a good place for Conan in the meantime since it's owned by Viacom.
 
Are there any articles detailing what went on with Leno and Letterman during the Tonight Show stuff? Or just something explaining this whole Jay Leno in a closet thing?

The suits got together for a meeting to decide whether to keep Leno on TTS or move Dave from TLS to TTS. Leno found out about the meeting and snuck into a closet to hear the whole thing play out.

It's hard to say, but given his circumstances I would be more afraid of pissing off Conan than Jay. :lol

I wouldn't. I got busy and only tuned in on occasion but Conan was still pulling in good ratings.

That isn't even considering the fact a man was only given 7 months to run the tonight show with his predecessor still... proceeding him.

Yea i hear you. Some people say that they are friends but i dont know. What Kimmel did the other day was pretty fucked up. Not just making fun of Jays chin but his entire lame routine.. for the entire show? Hopefully "Jay Leno" does the Jay Leno Show :lol

Leno is reclaiming the Tonight Show

Conan is leaving, possibly with more money than he was originally entitled (albeit it'd be for his staff)

Jeff Zucker is a cunt
 
We havent got word about when conans last new tonight show is. Some think he will get next week and thats it but news hasnt officially been made known.

The people who work on the show have said that next week will be his last.
 
Man, this is terrible. As long as I've been watching tv, Conan has been on every week with the exception of the transition weeks. He's a relic of my childhood and a staple of my day to day adult life. The cold open for The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien will still be the most memorable moment of TV of my entire life, I hope the end is equally as amazing. I hope he lands on his feet at a network that actually respects his work, and I hope it happens soon.
 
I wonder if Conan will take all the writers, Max, Labamba, Andy, and everyone else with him if he gets a show on another network.
