Oh ya, it's totally authentic. I've seen plenty of photoshops in my time and this isn't one of them. The photos have "Official Photograph. Not to be Released. CT." so you know it's straight legit.

Also aliens are totally real and totally travel hundreds of light years to dive into the Arctic ocean cause that's where all the good stuff is on earth, know what I'm saying?

The biggest irritant for me personally is just that the tiny number of sightings or photos that can't be totally disproven are used as evidence that the majority of sightings must have something behind them (50 million elvis fans can't be wrong), rather than the majority of unconfirmed, easily explainable or outright disproven sightings being considered evidence that the tiny minority of unexplained ones are probably not real either.

You'd have to ask my man Meus, we used to discuss these things by PM in ye olde gaf days. I have vague recollections of a French(?) airliner incident that had some real ambiguity. There was another with an English channel crossing. There's always potential explanations but in some cases you have to wrack your brain pretty hard to come up with them. The thing is though, you need to think about it probabilistically - if we take 1000 random UFO sightings, at least a couple of them are going to be difficult to explain. They're not all obvious weather balloons.

Any footage they take can be put online and impossible for the authorities to get rid of. And with all of that no good UFO footage has come up and a picture made 44 years ago is presented as a big thing ?
