Isn't Miyamoto ambidextrous despite preferring the left? I would think it's not too much of a strength that Link is too, even if he's switching to the right now.

^I had tons of problems reconciling dominant hand waggle/pointing with non-dominant hand character movement (and vice versa) in many Wii games and never found a comfortable way to play Pikmin 3, so it's easy for me to believe that Miyamoto is ambidextrous. Someone EXTREMELY left-handed would have trouble with at least a few of those control schemes IMO.

Random and only semi related, but does anyone here write with their left hand, throw with their left hand, but hold baseball bats and/or golf clubs right handed?

I never felt 100% dialed in using wiimotes, especially wiimote + nunchuck as a dominant lefty. I was constantly switching them between hands during play sessions to try and get that good feel, but I never could.

On the plus side I could play most wii games left or right handed, but I never felt completely comfortable. I know other lefties that struggled with wiimotes+nunchuck too.

I had a lot of trouble playing Metroid Prime on the Wii even though everyone said the controls were amazing. When I played it on Dolphin and could use PC mouse and keyboard controls I understood why everyone actually loved it. (Trained myself to use right handed mouse and keyboard at a young age and it stuck.) I think being left handed is also why I had so much trouble with Skyward Sword as well.
