LEGO Jurassic World - All 4 films - Full Trailler!

I'm hyped! Day One! Yada Yada...

I'm actually not a huge fan of using movie audio in the game. It bugged me in Lord of the Rings as well. However considering the other choices would be no audio, recast, or get old sounding actors replay their original parts, I'm not sure which is the best option.

Beyond that, it should be good. Now I just have to decide on what platform.

Since it includes all 4, will they be kind of short? I'd rather have a big JP1/JPW game rather than a short amount from each movie. (I've never played a Lego game)

Will order
from whichever retailer offers the best pre-order bonus, as with all LEGO games.

I'm just upset that I'll never get the LEGO TMNT videogame that I deserve. They dropped the license so there's no chance now, even if the chance was already slim due to TMNT having a game license with Activision (which LEGO could have waited for it to expire and then swoop in, sigh)

It's too bad Jurassic Park 3 was made before this Spinosaurus reconstruction.

Would have made it a lot cooler-looking than just another T. rex.

Interestingly, that reconstruction appears to have been a mistake as they used (IIRC) a humerus from a sauropod in their work. Spino is still odd and funky, but forelimbs there aren't accurate.

Nedry better fucking be in this.

I think that might be him hanging on to the jeep windscreen on the left.
Edit: Oh, could be Goldblum.

And besides, it's a Lego game. It's a genuine surprise when there's a named character who isn't in it.

Well with fairness, I doubt the shit factor of the last three films will translate to a LEGO format. LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game is still great, and it's an adaptation of literally zero good movies!
You're forgetting the secret level.

Off topic, but I am not a fan of this reconstruction. I find it unlikely that the legs of Spinosaurus can be that short. It's hard to imagine it even walking like that. Maybe I just want my favorite dinosaur to be a huge badass therapod with large powerful legs, but yeah, not a fan of this.

Anyway, really dying for a dinosaur game that's not LEGO.

decision factor for me, looking for the Wii U version:

good port (frame rate etc...)
second screen multiplayer (if multiplayer mode is included)
offtv for single player
option for sound from the gamepad only too (if playint on the tv with MUTE on)

Can't speak for the most recent games, but you can usually expect around 20 levels. It's normal for them to span several movies:

Lego Star Wars: 3 chapters, 6 levels/chapter
LSW2: 3 chapters, 6 levels/chapter
Lego Indiana Jones: 3 chapters, 6 levels/chapter
Lego Indiana Jones 2: 6 chapters; 6 levels/chapter (one chapter for each of the original trilogy, three for Crystal Skull. The levels were generally a bit shorter, though.)
Lego Batman: 6 chapters, 6 levels/chapter (Heavy asset reuse; three of the chapters were the villains setting up a scheme; the other three were Batman+Robin revisiting *after* the bad guys have taken over to foil their schemes)
Lego Harry Potter: 4 chapters, 6 levels/chapter
Lego Star Wars 3: 3 chapters, 6 levels/chapter (Plus a prologue level and three finale levels)
Lego Pirates of the Carribean: 4 chapters, 5 levels/chapter.

I strongly suspect that we'll be seeing JP take a Harry Potter / Pirates of the Carribean approach to level distribution.

I'm probably going Wii U over PS4 on this one.
Unless they screw up the port.

edit: Man, imagine exploring an open Lego version of the Jurassic World park before shit goes down :3

LeGoldblum is best Goldblum :)

Haven't been excited about a Lego game in awhile so I can't wait to sit down with the family and take this for a boot.

As if that trailer didn convice me enough allready, it seems like you'll be able to control the dinosaurs too.

Day one, confirmed

My body is ready for sexy Lego Ian Malcolm

*pushes up glasses with anime glint* No theropod existed where it walks on four legs. All true carnivorous dinosaurs shared the same features of binocular vision and stood upright to maintain and exceed top landspeed of its' prey.

Ergo, the reconstruction is bad and whoever did it should feel bad.

I am totally getting this. Jurassic Park and LEGO sounds like they'll make a really fun game. Hopefully they'll have a couple levels where you control dinosaurs.

I'll be picking it up. Need a Lego game on my current gen console and the last one I played was the first Indiana Jones.

So happy all four films are in this.
