I don't mean Sprite or 7-Up, they're lemon and lime.
I mean stuff like this -
Which is carbonated. Which is what lemonade should be. Otherwise it just seems like lemon juice/squash.
real Lemonade is lemon juice, water, sugar. Thats it!

I don't think we have carbonated lemonade here in the States, at least not that I've seen. It's just always been a regular juice beverage. Although the amount of sugar is probably as equal to a soda, I drink it instead of soda, as soda makes my face break out.

Both types of lemonade are delicious, but I tend to favor the original.
But ginger ale on the other hand, pink is the way to go.

No no no! Lemonade--actual lemonade--is composed of [sparkling/regular] water, fresh lemons and sugar (sweetened to preference). Nothing more, but certainly nothing less. That's our starting point.
Until everyone commenting in this thread has had *real lemonade* (and not Snapple/Kool-Aid/whatever lemon-like drinks and lemon-flavored drinks) we can't even have a real discussion on the matter.

i had real lemonade back at a bowling party when I was 17. it broke my face out to hell. i had so much acne from all of that acid from the lemons it took a month to get rid of it. I'll never forget.

Nah I don't think so. I was at that stage when if you consume too much acidic drinks, your face gets all oily and what not. During my teen years I had terrible acne, and I'm totally glad my face is as smooth as butter now.
I had a friend in high school who just drunk soda and his face was pretty much a rocky road. I had to force him to drink water a few times, as a friend. It was terrible.

Pink Lemonade nowadays is just a placebo, so they're the same. Though I would much rather want regular over pink due to less additives. I am fond to berry flavored lemonades, so that is also a good option.
But from what I've read the origin of pink lemonade goes back to the olden days. There was standard lemonade we all know and love and pink lemonade was actually a berry mixture that was very tart and sweet, similar to a lemon, so it was easier to just call it pink lemonade. Though throughout time most pink lemonade is either a mixture of reddish/pink elements or regular lemonade with some sort of additive(food coloring, berry, poison, etc.).
But girl, if you want a good drink I got one for you, I made this for the playoffs last year and my Cardinals won it all. You get some lemonade, add some Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash, and then a shot of Swedish Fish vodka. Serve on the rocks and you got a mighty tasty drink.

it does, but you have to know what to ask for. I bought shandy shock top beer the other day because I was remembering it from when I was in spain last summer. I do live in cali so it might not be available elsewhere.
