I went through a similar situation years back when I grew out my hair down to my shoulder (Mrs. Brady lookalike!) and every now and then I grow my hair out and toy with the idea of trying to figure out what the hell to do with it. I went so far as to go to a salon once, paid the guy $40, and let him do whatever he wanted and I got....the exact same haircut for 4x the price and 4x the wait. End result?

I just don't use a #1 -- though with the Texas heat it's not a bad idea. If you're feeling ballsy just go to a stylist, throw down the cash, give your basic guidelines, and run with it. Or get a girlfriend.
 
I had longer hair than you taku but I never did the emo thing and split it that way I would wear it down in a traditional metal head style or hold it back. I think maybe you should just trim it and not comb it the way you do now.

Haha yeah I've kind of stopped using those sweatbands. Nothing wrong with my wardrobe though, you've only seen like..3 shirts.
 
If anything, I respect that you had the balls to put your fotos up for the world to see... when you know GAF is harsh about scensters. Mad respect, my fuzzy little friend.

Point well taken, though I'm not really into the metal look or even the music, hehe. I'm not into the emo look either, I didn't think it was THAT bad. Hell, people are really beginning to hate me, huh? Haha..trim it it is then.

option 1, shave the fucker. nothing gets as close to pure liquid cool as plain old confidence and a bald head is a ballsy confidence infested gesture

option 2, just get some scissors and rape the shit out of that mop so it looks terrible, then fix it. option 2 might lead you back to option 1

Haha, I live in Sweden, just outside of a city called "Lund". I actually had to walk quite a bit just to find this flat spot ;D

What do you mean? I just edit them a bit to fix the contrast/saturation/levels and shit.
 
Have you tried considering different hairstyles depending on your face shape? There is a really good guide here with pictures of celebs and other examples. It's hard for me to tell your face shape because your hair is over your forehead in all of the pictures, but I'll assume you know your own face shape.

Also, do you go to a stylist that you know and trust? Usually a good stylist can recommend a cut that will look good on you and will be really easy to maintain. I went last week to get my haircut with a very rough idea of what I wanted, and my stylist was able to suggest to me how she could modify the cut so it'd take almost no maintenance and she'd get rid of any damage that my hair had. For someone who likes to sleep in, I was sold on the maintenance bit. And I am very happy with the haircut I got. So, you can always try talking it over with a stylist. Just make sure you go to a good, reputable salon, if you don't already have a stylist you trust.

Okay, umm, I have a stylist I kind of trust, but last time she cut it I told her to cut me something trendy and I ended up looking more emo than people have called me in this thread. But I do trust her, she's a really good stylist!

I'll just browse my way through internet and see what comes up, GAF isn't really helping..I DON'T WANT TO SHAVE MY HEAD COMPLETELY!!1 :lol

That's the same dilemma I was having last week :lol

I had really long, pretty hair. I liked it, but I couldn't decide if I just wanted it trimmed or if I needed to just hack it all off and go short. I finally decided to go with something new because I had had really long hair for well over a year, and I haven't had short hair since the 6th grade :lol

It took a bit of getting used to, but I like it now. It's really different.

And always remember, no matter what, hair eventually grows back! (If you're me, it grows back very fast :P)

Oh, I took all of the photographs myself, except the one with the grass which I had to cut and resize a bit.

I cut my hair in mid-january and it's already grown out like CRAZY. It was actually rather short after I'd cut it. But I'm not going to show a picture of that, people on GAF will hate me forever and ever :lol

So yeah, not really worried about that. I do want a nice haircut with summer coming up though :x

No doubt. I actually have really curly hair, so it takes quite a bit of work. Worth it, for all the hot high school pussy.
