Let's get real. Is Arby's really that bad?

Does not look "elegant" but they have the best roast beef sandwich I have ever tasted.

In terms of fast food, I rate it higher than Long John Silvers, KFC, and Burger King.

Considering I could still put a dozen fast food joints above Arby's, that's not high praise.

Arbys is ok. I like Reubens and theirs isn't bad at all. However I'm rarely in the mood to eat a sandwich with as much meat that you find in the average Arbys sandwich.

Their fries are overrated IMO. I prefer their onion rings.
 
I've only ever eaten at the Arby's in my home town (on average about twice a year). The food there seems to be ok but the service is outrageously slow and its been that way for the past 15 years. I literally pull up to the single drive thru window and turn my car off. I'm always guaranteed a solid 7 minute wait. I dont get it. Its not like I order anything weird .. its usually a beef n' cheddar or philly beef n swiss. You'd think they'd have ingredients ready and waiting.
 
Arbys is fucking disgusting, not just awful tasting. Their cheese should be downright illegal. I've never known a single fast food place to make so many different menu items that all taste nasty.

Its even worse than Taco Bell, and that's saying something.
 
Its ok, but at the end of the day its just another crappy food restaurant just like mcdonalds, taco bell and almost every other fast food chain. I much rather go to one of the local deli's
 
depends on what you get. I always get food without the attached salad because really who knows how clean their lettuce and stuff are, and I've never had a problem. Mainly I just stick with a beef and cheddar with curly fries. Keep it simple and you won't be disappointed, because you know exactly what you're getting.
 
I never knew they were bad. I love myself some Beef n Cheddars. They are a bit pricey though, that's the only reason I don't go enough. If I remember to grab the coupons out of the mail before my dad chunks them, I go after work since Arbys is across the street from work.
 
They used to have fucking amazing chicken fingers. They all closed down in this area so I don't know if its still the same, I probably haven't had them in at least a decade.
 
I think it's completely repulsive and I'm someone who doesn't have a problem with almost any fast food. Arby's is the only chain that I just think is completely gross. The chicken tenders aren't that bad though, the sandwiches are the real culprit.
 
Arby's is good, pricing could be better especially on their premium items. Best fast food place to eat inside of though as you'll generally have the whole place to yourself.
 
Tastes pretty good but the prices aren't exactly great and the past few times I've eaten something from there, I've felt sick after.
 
yeah, like somebody mentioned, Simpsons really did a number on Arby's reputation (that and the shit food itself, who the HELL thought a "roast beef sandwich" was a good idea, just nasty). I fucking love Arby's. I only go once a month or every other month cause it's pretty expensive. Used to be able to do the 5 for 5 with a coupon, but now it's down to 3 for 5. And no, I never ate all of them, I'd go with friends and we'd split them. Their curly fries are the best, hands down. I also like the chicken strips and grilled chicken cordon bleu they have.

Um, everyone? Where are you from that a roast beef sandwich is some kind of weird idea?
 
I used to go to Arby's more often when I was younger. Never minded the food at all but they became too expensive. They don't really have anything on the current menu that I crave all that much but I still have love for the curly fries.
 
If we're talking fast food and not just roast beef quality, I like it. I like their sauce, curly fries, and cheesy roast beef stuff. Compared to other fast food chains, at least I've never felt like shit or gotten sick afterwards there.
 
True they did become way too expensive. They are not a fucking boutique restaurant, they are not a niche galleria of fast food. Why all the expensive ass wood paneling and intricate wooden floors and restaurant remodelling? Just give me a beef and cheddar and medium curly fry and root beer for less than 8 dollars and you'll be successful again.
 
As long as you don't get their traditional roast beef sandwiches, they are fine.
