The upper part of that term goes to 18-19 years old. If you think having sex with adult women is disturbing then yes, it's weirdly puritan.
The lower end of this term is 15. This is age of constent in many countries, including plenty of ones from western civilization. Adult having sex with 15-16 yrls old girl is inappropriate, but the guy who does it is just plain asshole, not some kind of disturbed pervert that needs to be treated by psychologist.

Eh, I can see how you read into it like that, and that's my bad. Let me be more blunt: It definitely makes the dude a creep. My wording is just horrible at 6am without getting sleep.

The only scenario here where Dan isn't a creep is the one where he's not banging underage girls and/or using his position of power for sex. It's that simple. At least that's how I feel.

But since the premise of the topic itself revolves around showbiz rumors I felt like addressing how sex is often rumored to be used as a "shortcut" into fame. So, you're still saying that the girls could be responsible for these types of rumors, which is blaming them for coming on to an adult (and boss) and THEM being the real problem, not the adult (and boss) fucking underage girls. I never said they were the "real problem" at all, only that they're possibly not all innocent butterflies and rainbows being tainted against their will by the big ugly troll like all the Hollywood fairy tales say.

But ultimately, yes, a person in a position of power accepting sex from a minor is far worse than the minor offering it. I aplogize for my creepy statements if that wasn't clear.
